Thanks for the info on the Mainla terror threat. I'm freaking out here, as my kids are in Manila visiting a friend who lives there. They're staying there until the 9th, and then going on to Hong Kong. They also were in Indonesia a few days prior to the recent bombing there, but not near Bali. I will sure be glad when they're back home. They think I worry too much...

Don't buy this FNC statement. I just heard the press conference with Ray Kelly and the Dep Director of the FBI. The G Man hinted that some of the potential terrorists have been intercepted overseas, but the threat is quite REAL. Also Kelly and the NYPD have been developing their own network of info overseas. NY Cops are in London, Tel Aviv, Paris, Rome, and other major cities working with the locals on intel. In NYC we don't get to brag about much but the NYPD is the best in the business, and I'll go with their judgement.
Insanity. Sheer friggin' insanity.
