The drinking alcohol and going to strip clubs is a standard pre-suicide mission SOP, going back to the days of Muhammed and Ali. In the old days, it was hashish, wine and harem girls. It gives the soon-to-be "martyrs" a foretaste of paradise, where the rivers run with wine, you get 72 virgins to rape at will etc. That's how you get these moonbats to push the trigger button with a great big grin on their faces. They are sure one second later, they will meet allah and collect their "reward."

Just heard about a 30-second featurette on KRMG about his trip to the feed store.

Nothing that can't be explained away by a routine individual suicide by a depressed individual using a backpack bomb.

Move along, now.

Have you watched any of channel 5's coverage? This morning they were describing Jihad Joey as a troubled youth who had died in the explosion. What the heck??? Does it kill them to tell what happened in plain language? "He was a suicide bomber." That's all they have to say!

I see backpacks in the stadium and in fact I carry in a bag that is fairly large and they didn't even check it at the gate I went into. Our rent-a-cop security supposedly owned by a Mexican has become very lax this season. Only time they really have been checking is near halftime and that is only because Boren instituted a dry campus after the alcohol poisening death at Sigma Chi last year. They are looking for college students that want to bring alcohol back into the stadium to their friends.

I can verify from first hand that the student that was near the blast was going to fill up his flask and left the game before halftime. He was then going back to the game -- they don't pat people down anytime.

Alcohol is the #1 enemy on OU by the Administration!

Even today, millions of Moroccans speak Spanish as a second language. That is a ready made pool of potential jihadist infiltrators who can "pass" as Mexican to the average Anglo.

Couldn't get Tony to load on my machine (however, other live streams I listen to are o.k., e.g. WABC). Can you summarize what was discussed and whether he had a guest.

http://tapscottscopydesk.blogspot.com/2005/10/13-plastic-bottles-found-in-hinrichs.html

EXCLUSIVE:

A Lincoln Town Car registered in the name of OU Suicide Bomber Joel Henry Hinrichs III remained as of 4:00 p.m. EST today in the parking lot of the apartment where he lived and a U.S. Department of Justice inventory of the contents found by law enforcement officials was visible on the seat, Tapscott's Copy Desk has learned.

Among the items listed on the inventory are "13 plastic bottles" in the trunk. The inventory did not note if there was anything in the bottles, their size or coloration. The blue Lincoln was registered in Oklahoma under Hinrichs' name in June of this year, according to state tag records. The expiration date on the tag was February 2006.

As of 5:57 p.m. EST, a spokesman for the Oklahoma City FBI office had not returned a call seeking information on why the Hinrichs car had apparently not been impounded.

Other items on the inventory include a title, insurance certificate, a 2003 Rand McNally Road Atlas and two other highway maps with undecipherable titles. The car's license tag is Oklahoma VUL014, with a February 2006 expiration date.

Tapscott's Copy Desk has also learned that a tree near where Hinrichs' bomb detonated displays a number of small round holes and some areas of a metallic substance. The holes and substance are only on the side facing the bench on which Hinrichs was seated when the bomb detonated. The holes appear to be about the size of the head of 16 penny nail.

One of Hinrichs' neighbors told Tapscott's Copy Desk today that he believed Hinrichs lived with "three or four Arab guys." The neighbor said he rarely saw Hinrich or his roommates, except when they appeared to be going to and from classes.

The neighbor said all of the residents of the university apartment complex where he and Hinrichs lived are from Nigeria, China and Middle Eastern/Southeast Asian countries.

Makes me wonder if he really committed suicide. I wouldn't be surprised if the cell masters didn't have a timer or remote detonator in case the carrier loses their nerve.

Makes me wonder if the knapsack was meant for a drop not a suicide. That would explain why he had other bomb making material. If it's suicide why leave explosives on the kitchen table? Leave the bag in the stands and someone else calls in the detonation. The fact that he could not get in messed up the timing.

....describing Jihad Joey as a troubled youth...

Troubled?!? That expletive-deleted could've been responsbile for the deaths of Heaven knows how many people, from the panic if not the explosion, and that presstitute referrered to him as troubled? I wonder how the heck they'd characterize UBL, depressed? Good gad.

I think the contrast in coverage with channel 9 and its affiliated paper and with the national media's treatment of the topic shows that ALL media outlets were 'asked' not to cover this story. Presumably the decision by channel 9 to run with it anyway was a corporate decision made for personal/moral reasons, most importantly that it was their own backyard that nearly had a massacre.

It is even possible (speculation) that owners or officers (or members of their families) of the corporation owning that channel were at the game, which would really incense them when told not to cover it.

13 bottles of....peroxide, etc?

As if the FBI can't tell one bottle from another, or detect the last contents of an empty bottle.

They tell us what's in the bottles, it's game over for the cover up.

If it was a benign substance, you can bet they'd have released the info.

If I recall correctly, channel 9 is also the only locally-owned station in Oklahoma City. I don't know who owns channel 5, but channel 4 (NBC) is owned by the NYT.

Amen brother. Muhammed was, by all accounts, a classic paranoid schizophrenic, who periodically checked himself into a cave in the desert, where allah spoke to him.

Allah = Lucifer, if you ask me.

Well, I suspect he's "troubled" now--by now he's surely discovered that the 72 "virgins" were all clones of Janet Reno.
