"I think speculation on train wrecks, bus accidents and refinery fires as being caused by some grand Islamic conspiracy approaches tinfoil hat wearing."
Notable that if channel 9 had not broken with the marching orders and actually reported on this incident, all we would have would be some internet board ramblings and a depressed student who killed himself, clearly tinfoil material.

Bush can kiss my arse. This glaring MEDIA BLACKOUT of the OU bombing is an insult to thinking Americans, and does not inspire confidence in Bush's wartime leadership.

As I recall, it is expressedly forbidden for a Muslim to socialize with non Muslims, or even go into their homes.I think using alcohol and frequenting strip clubs are also verboten, aren't they, but that didn't stop some of the 9-11 loons. Maybe, if this guy was an Islamist, living with an infidel is part of the cover.

FBI flew in a chemist from the FBI. I heard the detonation -- shook my front window from five miles away. It was reported here that they took away solid material to blow up -- whether true or not it hasn't been confirmed that I know of by Norman police. All I know it was loud and powerful to shake my front window.

If I were the FBI, I'd have long ago talked to attorneys in the DOJ and put cameras outside every single mosque in the country.

"I just hope they replace the rent-a-cops with the real deal and that doesn't mean OU PD who are great at giving parking tickets."
Cops in college towns are notoriously fond of issuing parking tickets and speeding tickets. My son attended Washington State in Pullman, and the cops there loved to give out speeding tickets on a stretch of highway where the speed limit was reduced to 35 from the normal 55-65 for rural highways in WA state. And issuing parking tickets on campus was big business for the university.

Are you doing cinnamon? My doc said I was pre-diabetes due to family history. I was already working out, but I added Cinnabetic and my blood glucose dropped like a rock.

He was probably smoking too -- smoking gets you evicted from the stands. Trust me the flask in the stands do not have 3.2 beer in them. :)

I believe Mom told us once that one of her children is a journalism student. He/she will succeed and maintain integrity if he/she stays away from working with the MSM. Mary Mapes is the best recent example of one not to emulate.

I think speculation on train wrecks, bus accidents and refinery fires as being caused by some grand Islamic conspiracy approaches tinfoil hat wearing. Those things happen everyday due to human error or natural causes. For example, the Amtrak train that derailed last week hit boulders that had fallen on the track. Refinery accidents usually occur due to someone not following safety regulations or not having been trained in proper procedures.Well of course. I've taken that into consideration. There's always the human error factor to be considered. Unfortunately, the bus incidents were not caused by mechanical failure.
Please understand that I'm just catching up to all the info about the OU bombing. The MSM is doing its best to bury the Muslim connection with Hinrich. They bury and/or explain away everything, so it makes me start to wonder what else we don't know.
I'm focusing on this particular discussion, but it's reasonable to also re examine past unexplained, or prolific incidents and accidents.

"Call me crazy, but I believe that if only a single plane had been hijacked in 2001 and flown into the wtc tower (one of them), there would at least have been some effort to downplay the terrorist angle at first."
You're not crazy at all. I caught the 9/11 coverage just after the first plane hit and at that point they were talking accident. It all changed after the second one went into the second building so deliberately. Once the Pentagon got hit, everyone knew. If the terrorists had stopped at the first one, it probably still would be referred to as an accident today.
Great point, bears repeating. Absolutely true.

Good morning.
"Not to mention that if these guys are smart enough to learn to fly airplanes, they're smart enough to learn Spanish."
Conversion to Islam has started to occur in Chiapas. A combination of Indian beliefs, Marxism and Islamist/Jihadi beliefs is a dangerous mix.
The head choppers and suicide bombers don't need to learn Spanish if it's their native tongue.

Not doing cinnamon, but several other OTC things: fenugreek, garlicin, potassium chloride, magnesium, bilberry, multiple vitamins, and omega-3 oils, among others. That and plenty of exercise and changes to diet. When I went to the doctor two weeks ago, all my reading were well within normal. BP dropped from 160/110 to 130/80, and its often lower than that. But it hasn't been easy . . .
