"Unfortunately for Bush, he could nominate his Scottish terrier Barney, and some conservatives would rush to defend him, claiming to be in possession of secret information convincing them that the pooch is a true conservative and listing Barney's many virtues loyalty, courage, never jumps on the furniture ..."
And now let the personal attacks on ann coulter begin...
dang, too late. Personal attacks on ann coulter began with post #2!
She should be attacked for such an outlandish and non-reality based assertion. Of course it seems there are some here who are so stuck on stupid that every stinking topic, regardles of what its about they mention Bush and Miers(namely you).
Seriously, it is ok to hate Ann now? Was there a memo? How does she get back in our good graces? I mean, is there some sort of penance? Maybe 5 Hail Strategeries and a few Stations of Misunderestimation?
Well, why not? She has personally attacked Bush and Miers in this piece.
Not advocating it, but hey, what goes around, comes around.
Ann is wrong on this one. It happens.
As well they should.
Ann turns out to be an elitist Washington insider.
Frankly I am tickled pink that Bush nominated someone with Miers qualifications (or lack of them thereof). Personally I would have preferred that Bush nominate someone who did not even go to Law School, much less one who went to an Ivy League Law school. But if he had to appoint someone who graduated from Law School, SMU is better than most, but I think a former Janitor or Fast Food manager who graduated from a non-accredited Evenings only Law School would have been a better pick.
Miers has all the qualifications she needs. She's an American, she is more intelligent than me, and she teaches Sunday School at an Independent Fundamentalist/Evangelical Come-to-Jesus Altar-Calling Church.
Hallelujah.
While Ann, and many of the conservative elite, have engaged in personal attacks against Miers and President Bush, there is no need to respond in kind. Ann is just wrong on this issue, and her weak arguments are not persuasive.
Ann has finally jumped the shark!
OH I get it. ANN is allowed to make as many personal attacks as she wants. WE are to be condemend for feeding back her own tactics too her.
Ann made the ultimate mistake: she dared question the divinity of George Bush. For that, she is to be branded a heretic, all her good works to date notwithstanding. Then, may Heaven have mercy upon her, because the 'bots will have none.
The keyword kooks are already at it, it would appear.
Barney is, apparently, just as qualified.
Too funny.
Boo freakin' hoo. I admit that it is sad how some turn on a dime against some of our most vocal and ardent supporters of conservatism, and Ann has been a wonderful and invaluable tool to both advance conservatism and rally our spirits. But after awhile Ann has indeed crossed too many lines too often lately. If she wants to swing zingers willy nilly at other conservatives, she can't expect not to get some backfire. And in fact she is a professional and tough, she can take criticism. Weak she is not.
Let's be honest, with her nonstop biting wit, and the reality that sooner or later she will disagree with (generic) you, it is easy for most guys to understand why she still isn't married. A good wife knows how to strongly make her point and then cut it off. AC might be wise to take that into consideration.
BTW, you might consider the law of diminishing returns, as in spamming the same message over and over doesn't strengthen it, but numbs your audience, who soon tunes you out. We are well aware of where you stand now on Harriet Miers.
LoL.. Borking Ann Coulter is not new..
The RINOs can't help themselves..
At "compassionate conservative cell meetings", she is the name that must not be mentioned.. but alone like on a political forum they are weak and rise up in protest..
