URGE YOUR HOUSE REP TO SIGN RAMADAN RESOLUTION

(WASHINGTON, D.C., 9/23/05) The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) today urged American Muslims and other people of conscience to call their elected representatives and ask that they sign on to a House resolution recognizing the upcoming Islamic fast of Ramadan. (Calls are best because of time constraints.)

The resolution states in part:

(1) during this time of conflict, in order to demonstrate solidarity with and support for members of the community of Islam in the United States and throughout the world, the House of Representatives recognizes the Islamic faith as one of the great religions of the world; and (2) in observance of and out of respect for the commencement of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting and spiritual renewal, the House of Representatives acknowledges the onset of Ramadan and expresses its deepest respect to Muslims in the United States and throughout the world on this significant occasion.

Out of respect, would they recognize the Holy Christian and Jewish holidays? NO. Will they stop the practice of locking up or killing Christians and Jews around the world? NO. Would owning and displaying the Holy Bible or reading the Torah be permittable by Islam? NO.

Since CAIR does not respect a world dominated by representative governments with civil rights, human rights, and personal freedoms--but would support a world dominated by a radical Islamic Wahhabi movement, and by the Jihad, under the Mullahs and the Sharia, who cares a whit what they want. Call your elected!

I wonder who's sponsoring this resolution? That's who needs to receive a phone call telling him we don't need to commemorate a month to a cult whose ultimate goal is conversion (with 2nd class status to non-Arabs), enslavement or death for the so called infidels or "house of war".

It's hard to believe anyone could seriously consider such a foolish act.

I am concerned about Islam. Not terrorism, but Islam itself. Specifically, as my Representative, I am asking you not to sign the proposed Ramadan resolution that is before the House of Representatives right now.

A resolution such as this is simply the latest predictable attempt by the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) to lull Americans and our elected leaders into thinking that Islam is a religion of peace. I urge you to reject this notion by refraining from signing this resolution.

Madam, are you aware that three of CAIR's leaders became convicted felons for committing Islamic terror-related and fraud-related crimes? Did you know that CAIR's leadership have made very clear their desire to see the U.S. Constitution replaced by Islamic Sharia law? What is the point of this latest attempt by CAIR, other than to continue the global Islamic jihad by peaceful means right here in our own backyard? The language of this resolution is pure manipulation on the part of those who have a completely different vision for this country than our Founding Fathers did.

Islam is anything but a religion of peace. The Quran is filled with passages that justify the unspeakable horrors that have continued unabated for over 1300 years since the inception of Islam. Islam is most certainly not a religion of peace that has been taken over by a tiny minority of extremists. It is geo-political system bent on world domination. The theory and practice of jihad is taken directly from the Quran and other foundational Islamic teachings. It is the divinely ordained duty of all Muslims everywhere to fight (violently and by other means) until man-made law is replaced by "God's law" - Islamic Sharia law.

As a mother of 3 young boys and a responsible citizen who loves her country, I am not willing to slowly boil to death like the proverbial frog in the kettle while Islam continues the jihad against America. We must be on guard against terrorism, but we must also be vigilant to recognize the less sensational and less visible means by which the global Islamic jihad is advanced. What legacy will we leave for our children and our children's children if we do not now stand up courageously and recognize this threat in all of its fullness? I'd rather not imagine it.

Please do not sign the Ramadan resolution Representative __________. Thank you again for your strong and courageous leadership.

Twenty-five years ago, we were stationed in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. There was an African-American USAF Tech Sergeant assigned TDY to my office. He was driving back to the quarters after work one afternoon during ramadan and was stopped at a light. He lit up a cigarette, and some pagan in the car next to his jumped out of the car and began berating the TDYer, assuming that because he was black and didn't have CD plates, he was a fellow pagan who was violating the strictures of ramadan.

I could go on and on about the intolerances of that so-called religion.

Ramadan is the month on the Islamic lunar calendar during which Muslims abstain from food, drink and other sensual pleasures from break of dawn to sunset. It is scheduled to begin on or about October 4, depending on the sighting of the new moon.

Watch the street sales of Khat go up (ask your local law enforcer) - millions and millions of $$ are spent on this narcotic to stave off hunger during Ramadan and used excessively by Muslims all the time. The DEA have the records of this drug of choice by Muslims.

Yep! Catha edulis and goes by other names such as Abyssinian tea, African salad, oat, kat, chat, and catha. It's psychoactive ingredient cathinone and is listed in Schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act, a most restrictive category used by the DEA. Some of our ethnic restaurants serve it regularly.

CAIR's attempts to legitimize islam are laughable, but unfortunately, their bullying tactics have been quite successful.CAIR successfully got Michael Graham fired from his radio show for speaking the TRUTH that islam IS a terrorist organization and CAIR is it's mouthpiece!
