Toy pigs must go at council

Novelty pig calendars and toys have been banned by bosses at Dudley Council in case Muslim staff are offended.
Workers in the council's benefits department have been told to remove or cover up all pig products including toys, porcelain, calendars and even a tissue box featuring Winnie the Pooh and Piglet.
It comes after a Muslim worker said they were offended by pig-shaped stress relievers delivered to the authority.
Muslims are forbidden from eating pork in the Koran and staff were asked to remove the items.
The partner of one of the members of staff in the Ednam Road department, who did not want to be named, said: "It's caused a bit of an atmosphere in the office. The staff did comply but it's just crazy - things like ornaments that have been on desks for years have had to be removed."
Head of finance at the council Mike Williams, who is responsible for the department, said the member of staff said they were offended by the products in the run up to the Islamic festival of Ramadan.
He said a decision will be taken after the festival ends about whether the items are allowed back.
Asked what reason the member of staff gave in making the request for their removal, he said it "did not matter why it was considered offensive".
He acknowledged that some members of the department had seen it as "political correctness gone barmy".
Councillor Mahbubur Rahman, a practicing Muslim, said he agreed with the action taken.
"If it is a request made by an individual and other officers can reason a comprimise it is a good thing, it is a tolerance and acceptance of their beliefs and understanding," he said.
"But if it were a blanket ban I don't know how it would benefit the whole issue of working together."
What a group of inferior people that cannot stand the sight of a pig. No wonder they keep their women covered.
"All people are created equal" did not take into account mudslimes.

I heard of one company that banned employees from bringing PORK PRODUCTS in for lunch!........
I find it offensive when non muslim heads are cut off for not being ...well...muslim... and I find it offensive when women cover themselves up in black sheets head to toe...and I find it offensive when Islamic men blow people up because...well they're not muslim...and I find Arabic and the Quran highly offensive... and I find the Cresent and Star HIGHLY offensive...
If I were working there, I wonder if I could go to the boss and tell him or her that Islamists offend me, that when innocent people are blown up by muslims, I'm offended.
Would they ban muslims in the workplace?

How can anyone possibly be offended by Piglet?
I actually know of a place that does that... Of course, it is a synagogue. Of course, there's nothing stopping the employees from going out to lunch, and eating all the pork they want. They just ask that they don't bring it on the premesis. They decided years ago that asking non-Jewish employees to only bring Kosher food to work was WAY TOO intrusive, so they actually set up a special break room, where employees can bring their lunches with unkosher foods... Still, they ask them not to bring pork on the premesis.

I find that people who cover their faces with veils are offensive...this sort of Political Correctness sensitivity is beyond stupid, it is reckless for the traditions of Britton! Is there a Piglet Society of some sort over there? If not, we should start one over here – Bennie Babies come to mind….ohooooooo what fools to cave into such utter nonsense!.
