An American-hosted soft porn Internet site also doubles as a cyber home for radical Islamic video propaganda.
One approximately six-minute video housed on the Japanese site which we will not list because it so horrendous. Titled, "The Ambon Massacre," it starts with a picture of the ocean waves lazily lapping at dusk.
The scene soon shifts to video of a burning building and people being massacred. Then viewers see rows of dead bodies covered with newspaper, followed by scenes of burning, decimated houses.
The horrifying footage is followed by graphic video of burned, dead bodies with holes in their heads, as well as chopped off body parts. The dead include babies and the mutilated corpses of young people with gaping holes in their necks.
The video is apparently of the 2002 Ambon Massacre.

I've seen the video -it is very gory particularly with regard to children but it's not worse than some of the suicide bomber video. Oddly enough it's got a watermark for "Tampax Video"
I'm not gonna post the direct link in case somebody clicked on it accidently but if you want to see it here is a page that links to it - BTW, you need a vomit alert for some of the text on this first page but there are no pictures.

The Islamists, with China's support IMO, are making a big push in Indonesia. Indonesia has oil, coal, and other natural resources that China wants and they also are in a position to control the shipping lanes through that area which service China, India, and Japan.

I figure this could use a bump, particularly after the OU incident.
Stop spreading terrorist-produced propaganda. It only helps the enemy.
Ya think? How many Freepers do you suppose will turn to the jihadists' side on the strength of that video?
None, but it is unwise and morally wrong to promote the distribution of it.
Censorship helps the enemy. Do not be afraid of people seeing them for what they truly are.
You will notice I posted it as a web address and not a click-able link. I did this for two reasons, so that no one would accidental be subjected to this video, and because I did not want any hits to this website reflecting that they originated with FreeRepublic.
The truth may be too horrible to see, but unseen it is all too easily forgotten.
Never Forget!
This is not about censorship. It's about doing the right thing.
The terrorists want their propaganda widely distributed. We should not assist them.
Why, exactly? How does doing so harm the cause of freedom and advance the cause of the jihadists?
Among several other evil purposes, the enemy distributes their propaganda as a recruiting tool. This forum should not be a vehicle for promoting videos that are designed to encourage more terrorism.
The WND article was sufficient for informational purposes - and the author acted responsibly by not publicizing a link to it.
So, again I ask you: How many Freepers do you think they're gonna recruit?
I get the feeling we could have this discussion round and round forever...
Our enemies read this forum too.
It's easy to refrain from spreading enemy propaganda - just use a little self-discipline.
If a freeper sees the vid, will it be more likely to
A) create sympathy for the terrorists who committed the atrocity, orI'm betting B.B) create a burning resolve to exterminate such animals, wherever in the world they might be?
A quick Google search turns up multiple massacres in Ambon: Dutch massacred English in 1623, Japanese murdered allied POW's in 1942, and Islamists hacked up Christians in 1999.
I guess that it is not a very popular vacation spot.
A normal person doesn't need to consume terrorist propaganda to know which side they're on.
