The explosion happened at the courtyard near the George Lynn Cross Hall, Botany-Microbiology Building on OU's campus, which is west of the stadium, according to Sgt. Gary Robinson of the University police department. The explosion happened during the second quarter of Oklahoma's game against Kansas State. After the explosion, police set up a perimeter of several blocks and made fans exit the stadium to the east.
NORMAN -- An explosion near the University of Oklahoma's Gaylord Family-Memorial Stadium killed one person Saturday, OU officials said.
Your son know anyone in that frat?
I'm not sure, since I never did this whole fraternity/pledge crap, I'm really not sure what's going in these meeting minutes.
Was he serious in his comment? Look at some of the other comments. Some others stood out but his jump off the page there.
The word "suicide" is absent from that report.
Where are you getting this info and can you provide a link please?
Parkview Apartments (unlisted in Yahoo yellow pages, but located through search from an article about the murder of a college student at Parkview Apts.): 606 Stinson St., Norman, OK
MAP - directions from Parkview Apts. to Islamic Society of Norman
I asked my son and he said he thought Sooner Drive was in Parkview Apartments or the apartment complex right across from them. He is on his way to campus right now.
Maybe a lot of coincidences, but it sure makes me nervous.
Here's a link to her website.

She was the original reporter assigned to investigate in the hours and days after the OKC bombing. The interviews and eyewitness accounts she gathered all told of Middle-Eastern men who were seen with Nichols and McVeigh. She was pretty much 'brushed off' and and, I believe, taken off of the case, but she knew too much to just go away. She did - and does - continue to pursue it.
Ever wonder why McVeigh was executed so soon after his trial? Usually, convicts are on death row for years. Just very strange.
I remember, on the morning after it happened, hearing about mid-east men. All of a sudden - there was nothing. Jim Quinn in Pittsburgh was one who continually asked what happened to the mid-east men - especially after so many witnesses, eventually, he had Jayna on his show.
Anyway, there's too much for me to explain! :-) Check out her site!
This was released by OU PD and is now on our local news. Bomb Squad is there according to news reports -- my daughter-in-law just called and she heard it on Channel 53.
from reading some of the rest of it, the geeks talk there just because someone is actually listening to them, for once... Or so it seems to me.
The other option I can think of is that the engineering fraterity stole a small brass cannon from a rival school many years ago. Maybe they wanted to fire it?
It is now on the local news -- the people are being put up in hotels.
"If the story has been spiked, what makes you think the facts will ever arrive?"
We have a fact, a media blackout. It's really quite revealing if you think about it. FRegards....
what if we are looking at murder?
"Where are you getting this info and can you provide a link please?"
You are not getting the same transmissions? You need to make your antenna on your tinfoil hat LONGER and tilt your head out the window at a 43 1/2 degree for proper reception.
Seriously....

You're correct. Generally people are not oblivious to bomb-sniffing dogs led by men in protective vests and face masks.
It would get my attention fast.
Joel Hewry Hinrich of Colorado Springs has a patent in his name.

Colorado Springs. How odd. We were just talking about the Air Force Academy there and a recent threat. Why would an American blow himself up? And where did he get such strong explosives? Or was he at the wrong place at the wrong time?
LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. -- Nineteen people were killed when a small tour boat carrying 47 people flipped over Sunday on a lake in upstate New York, the county sheriff told the Glens Falls Post-Star.
Warren County Sheriff Larry Cleveland told the paper the Ethan Allen capsized when another tour boat passed near it and swamped it. The Ethan Allen sank, he said.
The 40-foot, glass-enclosed tour boat flipped around 4 p.m. on Lake George about 50 miles north of Albany in the Adirondack Mountains.
Where's the media, where's Geraldo, why are football games on TV. It's a cover-up! Why'd this boat crash? I want more info.
I remember that too -- wonder if he was part of this fraternity? Wasn't he going on a family vacation or something and forgot to take it out?
