NOVELTY pig calendars and toys have been banned from a council office in case they offend Muslim staff.
Workers in the benefits department at Dudley Council, West Midlands, were told to remove or cover up all pig-related items, including toys, porcelain figures, calendars and even a tissue box featuring Winnie the Pooh and Piglet.
Bosses acted after a Muslim complained about pig-shaped stress relievers delivered to the council in the run-up to the Islamic festival of Ramadan.
Muslims are barred from eating pork in the Koran and consider pigs unclean.
Councillor Mahbubur Rahman, a practising Muslim, backed the ban. He said: Its a tolerance of peoples beliefs.

At least when pigs fly they don't fly into buildings.

Its a tolerance of peoples beliefs. Riiiggghhht. This Muslim is living in England and enjoying the benefits of an open and tolerant society where he can rise to the position of councilman. Brits are not offended by pigs. It is the Muslim who is not being tolerant or even courteous to his host country. Brits, push back!

Dear BIG:
Here's a religion that bans the eating of pork (apparently, even pictures of pork), yet seems to believe it is OK to slit peoples' throats in the name of that religion? Talk about a warped sense of morality.

"Councillor Mahbubur Rahman, a practising Muslim, backed the ban. He said: Its a tolerance of peoples beliefs."
"Tolerance" would be if the Muslim had accepted the American culture of real religious tolerance and decided that people's desk decorations are their choice, not his.
I'd love to see that Islamo-whacko try to tell an old fiancee of mine that she shouldn't wear a piece of jewelry in the shape of a pig.
She was a Bianci Cup contender. She holds a record in one of the competitions, too - as I remember. '-)
As a member of the other religion that doesn't approve of pigs, I find this Muslim a perfect example of why he, and his entire religion and his co-worshipers are inherently antithetical to both America and to Judeo-Christianity.
I think it was Madison who noted that certain things were antithetical to Liberty. Islam is one such thing.
Time to wake up and read the Koran, all ya' dhimmis. Mo the Camel Abuser still wants to impose Sharia "law" on Americans, office by office, desk by desk.

Its a tolerance of peoples beliefs.Tolerance.
Political correctness.
Environmentalism.
These are the new fanatical religions which will bring down the West if we do not fight against them.
The Middle East was an intellectual powerhouse before a certain religious fanaticism ended it.

Boy, do you have that right. I've never seen such arrogant radicals, not to mention they're mentally ill. Hasn't anyone noticed? A religion that rapes 72 virgins for eternity? Raises their children to kill themselves just to mention a few symptoms. Need some soviet style insane assylums if you ask me.

All they have to say is "are you saying your allah is imperfect? Wouldn't you agree that allah 'created' pigs? So then you judge allah in one of his creations? Besides, dumba$$, it's only a hand exerciser. Choose for yourself if you'll eat a hand exerciser or not! Otherwise, piss off or I'll pork yer a$$!"
That ought to handle it...
To: ApplegateRanch
Sir! I am deeply saddened. You forgot Sweet & Sour Pork. And what could be better than enjoying a well sauced BBQed rib while Mr. Muzzie enjoys his cold mutton, quite possibly for the second time. ;-)

Dear Dag:
The Left has finally found a religion it can live with. Isn't it amazing, however, that it is a religion that suppresses a great many things the Left holds sacred? "The enemy of my enemy is my friend", I believe the saying goes. Both the Left and the Islamonazies hate capitalism, Christianity, freedom, etc., so they can work together for the time being.
