Even Ann Coulter has started to back off the Souter comparison. Roberts appears to be rock solid. In the same mold as Rhenquist, if not slightly to his right. Time will tell, but I think Roberts will be outstanding.

I was in a bad mood this morning and called Roberts an inkblot, which for me is pretty nasty. But there's no doubt Rehnquist was consulted on that pick, and if Roberts is good enough for Rehnquist, that's good enough!
Now let's fret about the next new-tone nominee...

does anyone seriously wonder how the pledge of allegiance can be thought unconsitutional when the Supreme Court oath itself ends with, "So help me God"? There is certainly no shortage of hypocrisy in Washington, is there?
