I was in a bad mood this morning and called Roberts an inkblot, which for me is pretty nasty. But there's no doubt Rehnquist was consulted on that pick, and if Roberts is good enough for Rehnquist, that's good enough!
Now let's fret about the next new-tone nominee...
If indeed Rhenquist was involved in making Roberts chief then he also knew how controversial Chief Justice Scalia would have been.
