Vote to occur at 11:30 Eastern Time today. Confirmation is expected.
Ha, but that is almost not funny...
Why ... what happen??
Yes, I have an HP printer
I'm going on the record now by saying that President Bush will surprise us all w/his next nominee.
I got the same. Not familiar with her, but the fact she is considered "radioactive" by democrats must be considered a plus.
Is she good???
I took it and got Estrada (after marking all the Hispanic/diversity questions as "not important").
Absolutely. Voting for Roberts was a smart move. The ones who didn't vote for the guy they all admit was the most brilliant witness to ever testify before the judiciary committee cannot justify their no vote to the rest of the country. To their uber-liberal interest groups, yes, but not the country. Now the group has some cover, as you mention, but the ones who voted against him really don't, although they'll say anything to get around their votes, even going so far as to vote against the next person for not being as brilliant as Roberts (the guy they voted against).
It's going to be very ugly no matter what happens. If Bush doesn't nominate an obvious conservative, he's going to feel the heat, and if he does, the confirmation battle will be intense.
is Estrada the onlye hispanic?
"I want a do-over."

Calling Ann . . Calling Ann Coulter . .
'Bout time you showed up. You're as bad a sKerry and Chuckie. (j/k)
Congrats on having a source...:-)
Whoever is the next pick is ... I hope the Dems go completely nuts over it ;0)
Someone will have it in print on the 'net, soon I hope.
Congratulations all around. One down, five to go:
Replacements for O'Connor, Ginsburg, Stevens, Souter and Breyer.
The first talley I saw was 33 Aye - 17 No. They did not do a running total. They updated it every five votes after that.

Yee haw!
Afraid I have to agree....
I have always respected this man, and have met him many times, but I see positioning to please the Left now....
You say this Marxist took an oath to "uphold the Constitution"??????? Nothing is sacred anymore. What a joke travesty. The Senate needs to stop spitting on the Constitution.
I crashed and burned!!!!
