For the freedom you enjoyed yesterday...
Thank the Veterans who served in The United States Armed Forces.
Looking forward to tomorrow's freedom?
Support The United States Armed Forces today!
Good Morning TROOPS!! What's your most detested TV Ad? Some tv ads are really funny; for example, the Vonage ads crack me up, because they are so stupid.
Many TV ads are very irritating, I'm sure you agree. Soooo, I ask the question of you "Where's the Beef" with you?
My particular bane is; A couple in their kitchen, the happy wife is chopping veggies hubby is at the table reading the paper, or day dreaming. Mrs. takes the chopped veggies, dumps them into the garbage disposal, runs the motor to chop the veggies,
THEN she scoops out the minced mess and serves it to hubby! Gads, this is gastly!
Okay, here's you chance to rant about your most detested TV Commerical.
Let's have some fun with this! Post a picture (if you can find it), or tell us about your least favorite product.
Just a couple of goodies. Birthday Anniversary.
1907 Gene Autry Tioga Tx, cowpoke/singer/actor/Calif Angels owner.
1922 Lizabeth Scott Scranton, Pa, actress (Dark City, Desert Fury)
On this day. 1963 Rolling Stones 1st tour (opening act for Bo Diddley & Everly Bros)
Beep Beep I like Beep Beep, it allows me to FReep!

The Solo-Flex ads are just plain annoying.
Nearly as bad as the "Help! I've Fallen And I Can't get Up!" commercials.
The DNC and MoveOn's ads for the 2004 election were just plain abominable.
Jack.

"I hope so

One of my BIGGEST beefs; the MSM. Never broadcast the good, only the negative. That's their blood money, in my opinion!
Another beef; when I went to Crawford, some so and so stole the magnetic yellow ribbon that said, "Support the troops" off of my car. I don't drive all that much, so I didn't notice at 1st, but my Beloved David did and searched high and low for a replacement, to no avail.
But God Blessed me after all.
After all my running around today I went in search of a replacement myself. No luck. I finally ended up at a Super Wal Mart in San Antonio and on the verge of an agoraphobic anxiety attack, when a very kind Wal Mart employee took me literally in hand and helped me look. There were none, but as she said she lives in another small Texas town, and said she knew where she could get me as many as I wanted, including one of the American flag and a soldier in prayer. I had noted earlier that my car need to be inspected, and this kind, wonderful lady said to meet her tomorrow at that Wal Mart and have her paged and she will provide me with as many different replacements as she can find, no charge!
Her name is Isabell, and GOd Bless this kind woman. She will forever be in my prayers as one of God's Angels here on earth.

I don't know the names of the drugs but I hate all of the commercials that are pushing some new, wonder, miracle drug then they start telling us about all of the side-effects. Most of the side-effects are worse than the original malady.
Sheesh!

You don't have those fake glasses with the eyes that are always opened? You could at least take a nap if you had a pair of those.
