DELAY [Mark R. Levin] Here's my first take on this indictment (I've only read the indictment and nothing more for now): The indictment is three pages in length. Other than a statement that "one or more" of 3 individuals, including Tom DeLay, entered into an illegal conspiracy, I can't find a single sentence tying Tom DeLay to a crime. That is, there's not a single sentence tying DeLay to the contribution. The indictment describes the alleged conduct of two other individuals, but nothing about DeLay. You would think if Ronnie Earle had even a thin reed of testimony linking DeLay to the contribution, it would have been noted in the indictment to justify the grand jury's action. Moreover, not only is there no information about DeLay committing acts in furtherance of a conspiracy, there's no information about DeLay entering into a conspiracy. I honestly believe that unless there's more, this is an egregious abuse of prosecutorial power. It's a disgrace. I understand that not everything has to be contained in an indictment, but how about something! Posted at 01:58 PM
Ok, WAR has been declared, lets fight it on their field, by their rules. If the dems want to use political prosecution to get back the power that the voters aren't inclined to give them, I say fine. It should be open season on every democrat that is within the jurisdiction of a Republican prosecutor.

I have just now read Mark's summary.
Right on, as always.
Does it mention that DeLay is a Republican? That is an indictable offense by Democrats.

It is at least a tort to mention conservative views in public now. It creates a hostile work environment and is hate speech.
Without the assistance of the MSM? Not likely.
Is This Raymond Donovan Redux?..........
BTTT
I believe if you wanted to, you could indict a hamburger........
If that has happened, then all bets are off, and DeLay may be in big trouble.
There must be a RAT somewhere who needs a reprieve from media attention. This is just another smokescreen by the RATS to protect their own. The end always justifies the means with these cretins.
"Moreover, you offend homosexuals, pedophiles, whoremongers, liars, theives, liberals, perverts, lesbians, queers, transvestites, murderers, purjurors, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Louis Farrhaukan, and the rest of the Halloween Coalition known as the Democrat Party."
Sure they are! They're legal tender in every state except New York... :0)
Besides Rush, Tony Snow et al, the NY Post and NY Sun will help ... and then there's Drudge.
Of all people to talk about corruption, Nancy Pelosi says this is an example of ongoing Republican corruption.
I know, Pelosi, the skank .
Hey, it cuts both ways, right? Wait until a Democrat needs taking out and the tables will be turned. Both sides will complain but underneath it all it's just politics.
This is a scam but let's also face the facts that DeLay has not represented the interests of fiscally responsible citizens. Should those of us disgusted by the republican party spending spree have to swallow DeLay and company from fear of liberals taking over? Got news for you. They have taken over.
What the great forget to mention, is Tom Delay is now a Ham sandwich.

I'm surprised so many Freepers on the other thread assume that DeLay may be guilty of something. This isn't the first time that this prosecutor has brought false charges, and they have been subsequently dismissed. These Freepers must not have kept up with Texas politics over the past few years.
I'm sure DeLay will fight it. And I hope the Republican leadership refuses to remove him from his house position until the charges have been proven--which is highly unlikely.
Stand fast and fight back.
