I have an idea for an editorial cartoon that could be used to defend against Cindy Sheehan and her ilk -- while simultaneously showing support for the troops. It might be considered "over-the-top" by some people, and it would probably not be usable by most newspapers... but here's what I'm thinking:
The scene: A fresh grave, probably shown at a diagonal so that the headstone can be seen. Headstone reads "Casey Sheehan." On top of the mounded dirt rests a toilet; and perched atop it, pants around her ankles, sits Cindy Sheehan herself. Behind her stands the ghost of a US soldier in full battle gear. His hand is resting on Cindy's shoulder, and he says "I forgive you, Mom."
I hope this is something someone can use.
I think it should say, "Repent, Mom."
There is already a cartoon of Cindy standing on Casey's flag drapped coffin shouting at Bush's Ranch. Someone post it please.
That's one ugly lookin' dude.
Sounds over the top but I can understand the point made.
Are you sure the soldier's ghost doesn't have his hands around her neck, shaking her and shouting, "WHAT do you think you're doing?!?!? And IN MY NAME?!?!?"
Ya know...in that photo in #3...if you give her a short man's haircut, she looks just like Matt Lauer.
That is what you call a coyote f* :P
LOL! John Kerry has some "stiff" competition.
OH! That is a good one!
has anybody ever seen her and prince charles in the same place at the same time?
same crooked smile, same honking nose... same "kick me" expression.

Bill Maher rode hard and put up wet..
Aha! I knew it! Separated at birth.
I hope this is something no one will use.
Don't demean FR.
Flush it.

Seriously, my idea was a military grave with a white cross that said "Casey" on it. On the grave sits an outhouse. Knocking on the door of the outhouse is Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, that has-been folk singer woman, etc. And they're saying, "Hurry up Cindy, we want a turn!"
Amazingly similar ideas, no?
Two thoughts with but a single mind between them.
Separated at Birth?
Or is Cindy actually Prince Charles in drag?

Hmm... That toon's on the same theme, but sometimes it pays to borrow a page from the moonbats' playbook and stick something in their faces that they can't ignore. And from everything I've read and seen, the concept I'm proposing is pretty much dead-on in terms of what Cindy's doing to her son's memory and honor.
