In a horrible way, maybe katrina will actually benefit LA. Perhaps it will get rid of the corruption.

LOL. Now that would be an event of Biblical proportions. That state and city have been hopelessly corrupt even before Thomas Jefferson bought it from the Frogs.

That's why it's called an Act of God.

And maybe, just a thought, that whilst the President was taking the blame for FEMA in NOLA his FBI and Justice Dept. were doing a little investigating...

The guy was giving kudos to God for giving him discernment...and all I could think of was having watched him stand at the podium with Jesse Jackson right after the hurricane. Now that is puzzling.

Tony Snow is the one that broke this phantom cop story this morning. Is Shep taking the credit now?

That was my bad - it was Snow and not Smith.

(However, I wouldn't put it past Smith ...)

Isn't this the guy that was with Geraldo outside the Convention Center and was saying there were like 30,000 people in there...and claiming all kinds of crime and such???

I do believe that the reports in the last few days, will put lies to THOSE statements as well.

But, a darn shame for the good people of LA.

The good folks will be better off with a good house cleaning of the corrupt LA Officials

"Nagin has been gaining more federal funds"

I doubt very much Nagin knew about it.

And how long did it go on. 13.5 million dollars a year at $30,000 for each officer.

the guy who was somehow in charge of all these names committed suicide.

That would be an interesting twist.

Sure does put chubby Sen Mary Landrieu is a spot. She threatened to punch out anyone who spoke badly of the locals, including the President.

Can she include make believe locals in her threat????

Mr. Bill??????

No...Shep is still doing the "woe is me" story from NO...I used to like Shep but then he turned into Chicken Little and thinks he knows how and when things should be done....why the MSM thinks they can tell the people in charge what and how to manage is beyond me...

NO is the only city I know that raises the crime rate by putting more cops on the street.

Anyone want to guess how many indictments we see because of Hurricane Katrina? It is exposing massive corruption.

Did anybody pick -zero- yet?
