I JUST updated my links to include a couple of the other sites I'd mentioned before:
The Foundation for American Christian Education (F.A.C.E.)
Promoting the "Principle Approach" to education and providing some excellent material; most popular among which is their facsimilie reprint of Noah Webster's original 1828 "American Dictionary of the English Language" (are you sure that Mr. Jefferson is using that word "establishment" in the same sense that we use it today?).
Elijah Company
Resources out the wazzoo. Promoters of "Identity Directed Education" (are we filling a bucket or lighting a fire??).
A critical book (in my estimation) to absorb during the process of developing your Philosophy of Education is this one:
I Saw the Angel in the Marble
Chapter 4 -- Searching for the Ancient Paths

After my last meeting. Gonna go eat some Tex-Mex and see if I can't put some flesh back on my bones.
Later all...

Actually I am reading a book titled 1945. The level of penetration of the FDR's Govt during WW2 by Americans working as Soviet "Agents" of influence was simply amazing. A lot of the post war world was shaped by people who were actively working for Stalin and the Soviet Government.
Seems the "old" Democrats were not so different then the "new" Democrats.
