"We're on a Nazi space ship bent on territorial conquest of galactic proportions?!" Er, no. Our plans are more modest, (just the Solar System). As in the recap above, or here, Recap.

I'm back... I was eating dinner.

Don't they also guard the gate to Someplace?
That place where missing socks go when they vanish from the dryer?

"That place where missing socks go when they vanish from the dryer?" Has it ever occurred to anyone that the sox might be arriving from somewhere else?

Honestly. They don't "disappear". They're stolen by the dryer elves to be worn as protective garments.
The only way to successfully combat them is to make sure that all of your socks are identical. That way you can always match up your remaining socks. Plain white crew socks work best.

Hi!
NnB is telling me about our quest for solar-system domination and Darksheare is lost in threads...

Are we there yet? Are we?
I'm hungry and I want chocolate.......
Are we there????
To: Darksheare
"Egads, socks as alien invader." Definitely a "foothold" situation.

My socks never look identical, even from the same pack.
I dunno why this is.

Just about a hundred miles to go...
