I had a plantar wart cut out of my foot about 15 years ago.
It was done under local anaesthetic.
the machines thought I was dead (BP down to 60s/40d, pulse down to <50bpm, respiration down to <3/min)
this, despite the fact that I was cracking lewd jokes with the surgical assistants and the surgeon himself.
*shrugs*
let me guess: you are tall and slender, with wide pipes?

I have a furious metabolism and for some reason don't shed heat efficiently. odd, considering I have a relatively high surface-area to volume ratio for a human of my size, and I do sweat proficiently.
additional issue: bright sunlight causes me to overheat like you would not believe.
