And, you sly VIXEN, you! You took the 1800!
Good for you!
LOL!

"It is tricky and wonderful." Thanks! That's me all right, very tricksy.
I'll make up a new word. I like to write "holographic" poems. You have to look at them from many angles.
For instance, a rainbow is a refraction image from a "curtain" of raindrops.

Thanks for the explanation....
The lines have depth, that changed my mind and opinion. :o)

You may be a K'nigget in your own eyes, but there are those of us here who still see you as the Prime VIXEN.
But to avoid any future embarrassment, I'll leave off the original title...with apologies

Ok. Here's the best I could do before nodding off:
Fists raised, you curse the dark.
Voices hoarse, you shout at the monsters about you.
Tears flow, to wash away the pain inflicted upon you.
But no one hears, except those with whom you are familiar
Reciting echoes from a past time, an invocation to hold at bay the forces about you.
Deep within, need and desire, to summon the power to banish those who haunt you.
You light the candle, and draw the magic circle,
You chants grow louder, your emotions in turmoil,
Silence falls as your eyes open to see fists raised against you,
Clear through the crystal of a looking glass.
To: NicknamedBob
LOL!

"... your eyes open to see fists raised against you,
Clear through the crystal of a looking glass." Awesome and powerful!

It happens to me all the time.
Maybe the people in your part of the country are more polite. Try Boston.
