Yah...our house had a LARGE floor to work on, so I was never hampered by lack of space.
Tell you niece if she has a talent for sewing, she can make LOTS of money. I made my first dress when I was 12, and when I divorced my first husband, I made extra money sewing clothes for some of the people I worked with. It kept the wolves from the door, and allowed me to give my little son (2) some of the good things.
If I had been smart, I could have used that talent to become a designer...

I had to use stitch markers at first, cause I kept dropping yo's, but once I saw the logic behind the pattern, it's been easy to keep up.

Do you have any idea how much booze someone from my bloodline can put away? Norwegian/German/Ukranian and none of us are small people. I'd need to take out a loan just to afford that much booze.
Not to mention the various hangover cures.
