KRPC.COM has live feed... in Houston.
A few people are having heat strokes on the road. Heat is unreal..... and high humidity.
Prayers for HOUSTON and GULF COAST...
serious situation.
ROFL
Oh NO! Those poor people...
I wish I could wave a magic wand, honestly.
Thanks, but it isn't me. It is just that Google Earth is so flippin' cool that you can't help but create awesome looking and very information rich images. My employer is about to purchase Google Earth Pro for me because I proved what it could do for the work that we do. I'm demonstrating it to our head honcho who is flying out next week.
Hey J, looks like we might get wet!

Did you see the interview? In the time it takes to change a price sign from $3 to $5.97 or near to that amount,a few others followed suit and panic ensued. The sign got picked up on MSM and the rest is history. The guy had no good answer for the reporter. Finally, the guy said he raised it to stop people from buying. Could have put a bag on the pump, but nooooo.
I nominate Hurricane Lewinsky. I can see the t-shirts now......
If you don't mind a lot of reading & link-following, there is a wealth of information on this old "bump list"--

This could end up being even worse than the Hurricane itself.
I needed that! Thanks
Oh I was thinking about Death Valley and how we got stuck there overnight once and that is what we were told: 1 gallon per person per day... and I was picturing the people stuck on the freeways and thinking it wasn't too different ;). Except it's not a dry heat.
ROFL, hoping that you don't get a frying pan for that one :-)
He's on again!
Must see pic here... #1914.
Environmentalists are ruining this nation -- look at our forest damage you can lay at their feet... the list is too long.
Already decided here during Katrina: Hurricane NautiNurse.
And next is: Hurricane Howlin'
Catchy?
Here's an ideal evacuation vehicle:

Who needs a road?
The other ideal kind of vehicle is a motorcycle, if you are confined to urban areas and the concrete jungle.
