Texas DOES have 4 seasons, December, January, February and summer ;)
Nice bike! Though I prefer the style of cruisers over the sport bikes.
That's a lot of bikes!! I'm sure my husband would love to try to keep up with you on that record! :) He really wants to have his own custom shop, but for right now that's just a dream.
Glad you got the dog--ditched the DIL! She sounds very unreasonable! Even if it goes east there's gonna be a lot of water backed into Galveston Bay. It will still be a mess, IMO...
Hey hon, checked your profile pages.....the Aggie Jokes will now begin.....
Did you hear about the fire at A&M? The library burned down. It destroyed both books, but that's ok, one was already colored in!
Yeah....we do have a lot of refugees though. I think all of our hotels are booked 100%. Laurenmarlowe in the Dallas area said that the closest hotel there with a vacancy is Oklahoma City! Sheesh! Well, I'm thankful they aren't taking chances!
Yes all by herself! LOL! I haven't been there any length of time to spoil him.
He just comes and hides behind me when the cats gang up on him.
Ooooooh, nooooooooo! LOL! I knew I shoulda hidden that little tidbit of information!
Further info:
People are running out of gas on the freeways because they sat on the freeway so long. Other motorists are helping them to push their cars to the side of the road. Very orderly, no fights, etc. People being very cooperative.
FEMA has dispatched gasoline trucks to see to it that those people get gas. The gasoline trucks will navigate the traffic even if from the other side of the freeway.
Others have suffered from the heat. Ambulances have taken care of them.
Good afternoon Kathy. I don't mind being called Red. LOL!! As far as Rita we are expected to get some rain on Sunday. No word yet on how bad it will be. I better get the yard mowed before then cause starting Moday it's post clean up. I also have alot of stuff to throw away.
Like that's not a form of spoiling. Oh, I'll bet you did plenty of it. Letting him on your lap on the furniture, feeding him from your plate...you know you did it! LOL!
Better than a repeat of NO and Katrina.
Not me!! *shakes head*
No kidding! And now we're taking care of all of them and our own, too. The Dallas mayor just said they had gotten the last of the Katrina victims out of the Arena on Monday and now it is filling up again. But we'll cope...we always do!
mine
mine!
Ok, maybe I'm way off base here, but if you aren't going anywhere, and there is a fuel shortage, wouldn't it make sense to turn your car off to conserve fuel so that you don't run out?
Too bad they can't refuel from the air like jets do! :)
I guess I'm thankful that I have only had to deal with tornados so far in my life time. Those come up so suddenly that you don't have mass evacuations like this.
It's sad that after losing everything to Katrina in NOLA, They now have to evecuate again, therefore loosing thier "second home"
I can't stand cruisers or bikes with clip-on type handle bars. I like naked sport bikes with semi-flat handle bars. That's why we have so many different types and makes to chose from. ;)
I've owned three Harley's over the years also seven dirt bikes the rest were sport type ~ none had a windshield or any kind of fairing.
Mine?
YES dear....you know you are the one who feed him people food from your plate. After I told you nooooo. So now he thinks he has to strare at me....and yes I share my food. And yes I admit to spoiling him to no end. He's just so lovable.
