THANK YOU!!!! Both Dad, in Dallas, and Mom in the car, have cell phones, so I'm sure that besides pacing, he can at least talk to her. UGH!!!!
And THANK YOU again! I've decided I don't like hurricanes! LOL! How are things looking for your area? Got an extra dog yet?
I thought that might be the pic of "your" Charlie Brown! So funny!
Schnauzers insist on being one of the kids! LOL! I am just waiting for 5pm to get here. This would be the first time I get to hear him since finding the Pentagon Channel.
Thanks, Linda, for checking in. Sending prayers for Brooklyn and your sister, as well as her husband and his Mom. Stay safe and check in when you can.
"Did you forget what happens to a female when she lands on 666?"
Especially one who is in full blown MENOPAUSE!!!!!!!
Back, hubby got home from store and had a WONDERFUL conversation on the phone with MoJo, what a SWEETIE!
Very smart little dog. He has the funniest facial expressions and sounds. He just can't figure out how to outsmart the cats.
This will be the first time for me to hear him since he left for Korea. I forgot he told ne about this channel.
LOL! Someone missed. LOL! Oh, good afternoon, red. (You just became red because my fingers refuse to type the proper letters in the proper order.) How is Fort Riley looking re Hurricane Rita? I know you are quite a ways north, but will she trigger any ugly weather for you?
Yes, my wife picked up the dog and gave her money. My wife has finally gotten fed up with her. I would have told her off years ago. My wife told her that she better seek shelter elsewhere. That's pretty strong language coming from my wife.
She ditched the idea of driving to Amarillo. It's a 12-hour drive on a GOOD day.
The DIL's mother has booked a flight from here to Portland, Oregon for tomorrow morning. I say good luck with that. Hopefully it's a one-way ticket!
They say the storm eye is still expected to make landfall in the Texas/Louisiana border area.....80 miles or so East of Houston. If that happens then we are comfortable with that.
Traffic is no longer backed up from Galveston to downtown Houston. The parking lot ends a few miles South of downtown. Last night it was backed up for 50 miles. Kinda sounds like contra-flow is working.
Very pretty, but it's 100° here today, what's fall?
thank you! our little sales weasel will be pleased!!!
Welcome mrstank ~ I too ride a Suzuki, a 2001 SV650.
There's a picture of it on my profile page.
I've owned 10 Suzuki's since '69, all told I've owned 22 + bikes since my first one (a Harley) in 1948.
Thanks for the ping Star*!

Hope you are not anywere near Galveston or Houston
If so
GET OUT!
May you and ALL the Texas Freepers and thier families stay safe.
Poor puppy! He might just as well give up on the cats--they win every time! LOL!
And what she didn't tell you is that she's spoiled that dog to no end too. LOL!
It's just wishful thinking, Linda! It is 95 here and the sun is beaming down and every leaf is green and will be holding on till November. I live in the desert--check my profile page!
It does, doesn't it! LOL!
OK, you look to be safe. Now, I have to wait out Ash and family. And then there is cb in Katy and his daughter due to deliver her baby today and he may have to do the doctor bit. YIKES!! Gonna be a long day.
Hi, Pip!!! Long time, no see! I am 500 miles away from Galveston. My brother lives in Seabrook but they got out yesterday. Some FReepers down in that area, but I think they are being smart about it.
That's good to hear! :)
Yeah---all by herself too! Like you didn't spoil him when you were home! Get real!!! LOL!
