Breaking: Jet Blue emergency landing, Long Beach, CA (UPDATE: Plane Landed Safely)

A Jet Blue aircraft just did a low altitude flyby of Long Beach airport after reporting some concern with their forward gear. The television helicopter caught an image of it - the gear is turned sideways and tilted.
Aircraft is heading out towards the ocean to drop fuel, will turn around, and attempt a 'soft field' landing, keeping the nose up as long as possible.

I've seen FNC stay with car chases. Guess this is not as exciting until the landing? I've watched them stay with car chases for over an hour....till the guy's caught. Guess you're right, lol!

Yep, I have seen something like this before with a military aircraft.
Smaller aircraft, but it was ugly. I don't know what the weight of this aircraft is or how long the flaps can hold stability upon landind. What is the lowest speed at which this aircraft can land?
