Your #38
You attribute this to Jesse Jackson? Why?
Those are the Clinton years.
Watch for Jesse to claim he got stuffed in a garbage can and covered in poo-poo.
They clearly confused Jesse with Michael, whom they still love.
This is not to sound alarmist. It's real.
If you want a Google GMail account, FReepmail me.
They're going fast!
Judicial Watch? Forget it, this ain't goin' nowhere.
sorry, caption is in #40. No, Jackson opposed it tooth and nail and played the race card etc... Clinton went along with it because Welfare Reform was popular among people and Dole was hammering him on it, even so, he 'watered' down key parts of the bill, he vetoed the first 2 or 3 that passed. Credit lies with the Republicans, not Clinton. But, I wish Bush would do more to continue the progress.... like cutting welfare.
Jackson still oppposes any welfare cuts.
I'd love to know what companies Jesse Jackson is calling people to boycott so I can be sure to buy from them. Just my own little way of slapping JJ's face. Why doesn't he call for boycotts on the Miss Black America pageant? Only blacks allowed there.
I like and respect Rev. Peterson. I've read a couple of his books and he has a lot of good things to say and good advice not only to the black community, but to all people. He shows that you can be born poor and if you get an education (even if you do it later in life) and work hard, you will make something of yourself...you know, the American Dream. He's a good man and I hope that he keeps himself safe from Jackson's thugs. Jackson and his ilk are the ones keeping people down...not Rev. Peterson.
I wonder how Jackson will look in stripes? Wearing stripes for a few months might knock his ego down a few pegs...
In this context those are the Republican Congress years after the 1994 victory. The Welfare reform bill would explain some of that IMO. Clinton gets zero credit in view for any of that.
Okay, I was all smiles when I read this, but realistically....?
Jesse Lee Peterson is a good man, a true man of God. Can he compete with the likes of Jesse Jackson? We should say a prayer of support, so that JJ finally gets taken down a notch. Thanks for the ping : )
More ironic than being drown by a lifeguard
I agree. I think Jesse taught Hillary every thing she knows.
bttt
Oh I hope this is a real trial, with sensible jurists or judge.
Of course, he'll get the Michael Jackson / OJ Simpson type trial and verdict.
Do to major welfare reform performed by the Republican congress.
Unlike Jackson's "Reverend" tag, which was no doubt found in a box of Cracker Jacks.
This ought to make the swollen-tonged-one completely unintelligible.
