Galveston is telling it's residents "If you cannot evacuate, if you don't have a car, or if you are handicapped, please call us, we'll come and get you".

Just reported on Fox.

Hope Nagin is ashamed of himself.

It will update in about 45 minutes, with CURRENT ship and storm positions!!

HARNESSING WEATHER

ALLEGATIONS SURFACE THAT U.S. & RUSSIA HAVE TECHNOLOGY TO MANAGE HURRICANES

What a load of crap.

Can you imagine amount of the energy required to have any meaningful impact on a storm like this?

I think you are right about NO. The weather guy on KHOU showed a map and it only had the TX coast as targets. It is stronger than Katina when it hit shore.

Could you explain the ratio between the barometric pressure and the strength of a hurricane? I see the numbers mentioned, but don't know what it means.

Thanks.

Bush and Rove are guiding this one right to Houston area so they can get the evacuees they missed with Katrina. They are one diabolical pair. A right and an upper-cut. Ali was never that good.
