"Climate of fear" in newsrooms?
What in the world is he talking about?
Who's Dan Rather?
Dan, thank Algore for it.
The fear getting caught attempting to sway a Presidential election by airing a hitpiece on a sitting President (that you hate), by using forged military documents and a crazed and disgrunted Bush hater (Burkett), and collaborbating with the opposing candidate's camp - therefore forcing you to resign in disgrace after a long career.
That kind of fear Dan?
"Climate of fear."
The liberal media is eating its own.
It's telling the transparency they demand in so many other institutions doesn't sit well in the newsroom. "The climate of fear," is the fact that finally the consumers of news have an effective say in something beyond the anchor-robots' wardrobes and hairstyles. Of course, there's a lot few of those consumers thanks to, in part, the decades of Dan Rather.
Dan Rather put his spin on the news for how long? The "fear" he speaks of is his own, and it sounds like it's coming from the fact that he doesn't have any control over what people think anymore. Liberals hate truth.
Capitol Steps.
Congratulations.
Your legacy is on a par with the only impeached President in our nation's history.
You said you wanted to be as successful as him and by God you did it!
Dan Rather was a major contributor to "the climate of fear" in newsrooms. Especially his own. He played down and dirty ruthless hardball. No one dared to cross this newsroom dictator.
The king is dead. Good!
"Climate of fear.",.... of being caught trying to bring down a sitting President at a time of war
"Climate of fear.",...."
What is the frequency Kenneth?
It's always fun to knock a weirdo and Rather tops the list of them.

Dandy Danny boy epitomizes everything that's wrong with mainstream "journalists" these days. Partisan democrat operatives who disguise themselves as "newsmen".
