In a blockbuster radio segment, Matt Drudge reminded a caller who sounded suspicously like Cinday Sheehan that 795 Americans -- mostly poor, black and elderly-- died in Chicago in 1995 (on Clinton's wacth)during a heatwave because they were to poor to have air conditioning. No one in the media demanded the head of James Lee Witt, nobody in the lib media demanded Bush to apologize. Nobody in the media said Clintoon was too busy hanging out with Barb Streisand to give a crap about the black urban poor.
Every right-leaning talk radio station in the country should remind their listeners about this.
We do, but Hollywood and the mainstream media don't push their books and movies for them. Even though his movie has been fully discredited, how often did you see and hear stories about it, or TV hosts gushing over every book or news clip that put Bush in a bad light? Interviews, newspaper articles, Democrat senators that used their own money as startup capital for Air America.
Moore is nobody special, he's not intelligent, and he doesn't have any special insight. The lens of the mainstream media is like the side-view mirror on your car... "Objects may appear larger than they actually are". Take that away from him and he'll be back in Flint taking cheap shots at General Motors, waiting for someone to notice him.
Yeah, we could use a good movie.
How many thousands died recently in Europe from the heat? I thought thousands of elderly died in France.
No, you're wrong. We're not bringing this up to say Bush is to blame and Clinton was to blame too. We're saying "Where was the effing mediain 1995?" Bringing it up shows the absolute partisanship of the media and how it colloborates with the unconscionable Democrats.
"Every right-leaning talk radio station in the country should remind their listeners about this."
And what good will it do if a day or two later President Bush comes out and disputes this claim and again sides with the left that the "unexceptable" response to Hurricane Katrina was based on racism?
Right leaning radio stations are doing just fine. Fire the WH spokesperson for starters. He's useless. The media has a hayday with him everyday and Bush's approval ratings have been dropping ever since this man started in his job.

Yep, and Chirac and Shroeder didn't get any crap for it either.
Any links ....
Good for Matt, that was a great point.
Because NOTHING happens unless its on TV news, if the "news" want to ignore it, it did not happen, they write the script to every news event.
During Clinton, there was total peace and prosperity.
As awful and unscrupulous as Moore is he got a lot of votes for Traitor Kerry. Bush would've won by 15 points if Moore didn't make that movie.
You're right.. the leftists learned a long time ago that perception is reality and ever since they've been about distorting and concealing reality to create the perceptions that they want.
For two weeks straight the alternative media has made the race-card liberals look foolish. What did Bush do? He came out with a speech in New Olreans claiming the liberal media was right and the response to the hurricane was indeed "racist" and he was responsible. Bush is right, the buck does stop at him. The question is, will he fire the WH spokes person or will he continue to let the media knock this guy and the WH approval ratings down?
This man is like seeing Gilligan in the ring with Mike Tyson!

I agree with you that his message team is piss poor. McClellan is just AWFUL.
Cameron Diaz said the same thing about Bush out in California. He was actually commemorating the anniversary of VJ Day in San Diego.
Rush talked about this already, either earlier in the week or during the week before. It's old news.
No, its not... it's the ultimate response to the media hissy fit.
America was just like that Perfect place on the Walgreen's commercials. Just ask the DUmmies.
McClellan needs to go or the republicans may suffer in 2006
On second thought...you're right... it is his fault and the fault of all Democrats that had a moral obligation to take care of their constituents.
Democrats are nothing but racists. Black America, welcome to your new "plantation!"
