That 's interesting. If I remember correctly, I heard something to the effect that her father was arrested & jailed for some criminal conduct some time ago.
Juan Williams says most people want to know what Roberts thinks about abortion and the other simmering issues of the day. I think Juan is full of it.
Certainly was not in our news.
ROTFLMAO, I love FReeper humor, thanks.
Without bubba's clout she's nothing.
Wowsa.... the MTP interview looks so FAKE.... from the alternating camera angels between Timmy face close-ups and Bubba close-ups, to the audio 'cut out' between question and answers.
Anyway... totally softballs, asking clinton on his 'views' on the democrat talking points and letting him answer, then move on to asking him his 'opinion' on the next talking point.
On clinton's part, he says Iraq was a mistake and a distraction from the war on Terror, and the whole deal in Iraq has hurt america overall. FEMA needs reform (taken out of HS 'like it was under me')
No questions on Able Danger (shocking!)
Caroline Kennedy just said, "My mother always encouraged John and I to read poetry."
Frow what I have seen so far....the biggest weenie of the day, should go, once again, to Timmy Russert...
During his intvu with Clinton...he said the spending for Katrina at "over $300 billion"....huh? First of all, Bush hasn't mentioned the $200 billion number yet...and Timmy makes up his own number and acts like "everyone knows" that is how much it will cost....
Clinton of course, comes in as second weenie---too much to name right now...
Did anyone see Col Hunt on BOR Friday where he had inside info from Police and Military friends of his that are in NOLA and the Gulf coast? I did not see the program myself, but was informed by a friend that Col Hunt related info that is being kept under wraps that Rival Gangs from outside NOLA came from as many as 5 states invading NOLA after the flooding began. He said they came with rubber boats and used quiet trolling motors to get access to major Banks,Jewelry Stores, high value merchandise stores, and fled with over 60 million dollars worth. They were not stopped by the Police because they had high powered guns, and the Police were outnumbered, especially after many of them just abandoned their duty. These probably took place over a three day period when they were trying to Rescue a lot of people on roofs. From what I can understand that was what the shooting was about, the snipers were the out of state gangs that did not want their grand larceny interrupted. If any of this info is not correct feel free to post what has been uncovered.
When did it break in your news then because the procedure he had earlier this year or was it last - time just seems to fly these days was the second time that the problem with his irregular heart beat had been treated and public knowledge in Britain. The first time if I remember correctly he spoke about how he had felt when it happened I think he had some treatment to correct it (maybe just medication) but obviously that did work and he had to have the second procedure
Breaking down his support by sex, a majority of females voted for Clinton, and less than a majority of males did. He knows how to win elections, one must give him credit for that.
When two editorials warn the democrats to support Roberts or face consequences, it 's over.
Obviously she should have had them read some basic English texts. That would be "John and me."
I've also noticed the talking point is out... going to use Katrina spending to argue against Iraq / Tax Cuts / (at least complain) about Health Care / etc. I heard the same idea expressed by several 'talking heads' this morning.
I remember thinking it was BOR whose 'loose lips sink shiips'.
I saw it and you can bet yur bippy we won't hear it anywhere else.
And she was the smart one in the family!
He did not get 50% either time - dear Ross got him elected.
