Terrorists will have to wait. We need to be saved from lawyers.

This is the sort of crap our society can look forward to thanks to the lawsuit-happy Leftists and the jackwits who deem all corporal punishment to be "child abuse."
If I'd acted like the kids in this article, my butt would have glowed in the dark by the time my parents were through with me.

This is the kind of thing that makes anyone in their right mind NOT want to become a police officer.
Unfortunately, that means the slack will have to be taken up by people who are not in their right mind.

"reflects a new policy not to use restraints unless the child is armed or considered violent."
Ok, she hit a boy, and was tearing things from walls, standing on tables, and she had to be returned 3 weeks earlier because she had ran away from school. If this isn't violent, and possibly self destructive behavior, then I don't know what is...put the kid in cuffs and make her sit there until dad arrives. I think dad should be footing the bill for all the damage also.

A girl, upset over a tetherball game, throws a tantrum during an afterschool program at Fairmount Park Elementary. She stomps on a table, tears things from the wall, pushes a television off a stand. Someone needs to join the Happy Hands Club.

I know.
I'm just (((shaking))) my head.

Charge the full bill to the parent, for the repairs, damage, teachers time, officer's time, and a $5000 per incident "poor parenting" charge. Require parenting classes. Waive the $5000 if they sign a Spank My Kid permission slip ahead of time.

Isn't this is the same school that's being sued because a little boy ran away from teachers, earlier this year, ran into the street and was killed when hit by a car?
Then they're being sued by the woman who's kid was handcuffed.
Looks like there's no end to their problems.

What utter P.C. nonsense.
The little monster should have been dealt with......and NO video cameras around.
To: Prime Choice
Thank you!
A teacher with a 12" wooden ruler should've been able to solve that problem.

No mention of the girl's age or a mother.
No mention of the type and location of injury on the boy she hit.
No mention of the value of destroyed items in the classroom.
No mention of a requirement that the father pay for the damages.
No mention of how the girl behaved when her father showed up.

...but you were not like the "kids" in the article.
The 8-year-old girl who acted up last week goes to Hamilton Disston School in Gulfport, for children who are severely emotionally disturbed or who have other disabilities such as speech or vision impairments. After school, she is bused to Fairmount for R'Club, a nonprofit learning program.
