If I'd acted like the kids in this article, my butt would have glowed in the dark by the time my parents were through with me.
This is the kind of thing that makes anyone in their right mind NOT want to become a police officer.
Unfortunately, that means the slack will have to be taken up by people who are not in their right mind.
And, by extension, from our children.
Hmmmmm..I am thiking we take all of these little hellions and let them loose in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. That would be a hoot!
I sure am glad my kids are grown and no longer subject to this madness.
Someone needs to join the Happy Hands Club.
Isn't this is the same school that's being sued because a little boy ran away from teachers, earlier this year, ran into the street and was killed when hit by a car?
Then they're being sued by the woman who's kid was handcuffed.
Looks like there's no end to their problems.
What utter P.C. nonsense.
The little monster should have been dealt with......and NO video cameras around.
this is now SOP with some mentally ill. If they are not and IMMEDIATE danger to self and others, no one can touch them.
What an irresponsible and dangerous world we have created.
Thousands of years of childhoood discipline has been destroyed in a single generation.
I was recently told, by a mother in her thirties, she could no longer control her son. He is two years old....He is surely headed for a life of crime because 1) his parents are too busy making money and acquiring "stuff" to be proper parents and 2) his parents do not understand discipline IS love.
Not long ago, my wife and I made the mistake of meeting the couple and that small boy at a Mexican restaurant. The parents let the child run all over the restaurant and grab things on every unoccupied table and bring them back to ours. I was so embarrassed to be seen in the company of such irresponsible parents, I told my wife I'd never go anywhere with them again.
The inmates are truly in control of the asylum.
The New Orleans anarchy is only a small taste of our future.
Sounds like the kid was a little psycho to begin with. I sympathize with the folks advocating ten of the best, but in this case she shouldn't have been participating in the first place.

An emotionally disturbed kid, dumped off on the school system. I'd bet her mom can't control her either, but it's not her problem while the school has her.
The school can't control her, and the police are afraid to go near her.
Wonderful. Just wonderful.
What's this kid going to be like in 10 years?
As I was logging in, the thought crossed my mind that if conservatives were the "disciplined parents", then liberals were the "children throwing temper tantrums". Interesting coincidence to come upon this article.
If an organization for "children who are severely emotionally disturbed" isn't equiped to handle them then they should be shut down. This shouldn't be a police matter to begin with. I suspect that the school and the R'Club are taking government money to "care" for these children then passing the buck when there is a problem.
Many years ago, when I was young, stupid, and a union member (not mutually exclusive), I learned about what the company called "malicious obedience". In other words, the union member obeyed his supervisor's work instructions to the letter, in a way that was malicious (he knew that the imprecise and assumptive wording the supervisor used would lead to a Bad Thing, but he obeyed the supervisor's words precisely anyway.)
In that case, the company filed a union grievance against the employee. I'd never heard of that happening before.
Anyway, I said all that to say this: It seems to me that the police are obeying the lawyers' instructions to the letter, and the result is the malicious destruction of school property. Malicious obedience . . . and it's the fault of the blood-sucking attorneys, IMO. (I'm not really blaming the police, you see.)
Correct!!! That needs to be on a bumper sticker or T-shirt, or even a national motto........or something!
the little twit simply need her butt whipped good!
