An interesting thread by striking Northwest Airline mechanics at www.usaviation.com. The source URL takes you to the specific thread
Evidently, they all think that this is the way to strike:
They are all for it, including this pleasant little ditty:

The AMFA STRIKERS are being way too nice in my opinion. If this was the 1930's, that SCAB's house would have been torched!

TWU:THE UNION THAT INVENTED CONCESSIONS! Why RIDE the BUS? When you can FLY with AMFA
ATA is in Chapter 11 too!
I like ATA, they used to let me fly to Hawaii for $40 each way.
That should take care of the scum if they try something.
Nice catch on that link!
Why don't you post them this link to FR and we can get a few more right thinking people from that thread, and a few union leftist socialists that we can zot.
One of my favorite FZ albums.
We were jammin' at Joe's garage
We didn't have no dope or LCD,
but a couple of quarts of beer
would make it so the intonations
would not offend your ears...
I last saw him at the now flooded Saenger Theater in New Orleans. He played the burned Hendrix Strat at that show.
There is a time in some peoples lives when they need to look in the mirror and realize that they have a decent life, they make a decent living, and should be happy with what they have.
Then some union Rep. will come along and tell them that they are underpaid and the company is screwing them.
Unions have become their own worst enemy.
these dipwads are ALSO asking for serious trouble
They're shown blocking a driveway. Isn't that illegal? I'm guessing it is.
And still, turnover due to terminations for absenteeism (excessive sick) runs at 20% a year! These folks are handed a golden opportunity, and they wonder why they are unemployed a year later because they used every single sick hour, plus some. Even the union can't prevent you from being fired for that.
Unless they were invited by the home owner then that photo is proof that they were trespassing.
NWA is not safe to fly.
Man the stupidity of some people.
I at one point in my early 20's was a steward in the CWA union with AT&T. (Go ahead and take your shots I admit I was young and stupid...:)....)And I saw the ammount of corruption and down right dispicable tactics of the local were appalling..
So to read through the thread over on that sight it does not suprise me. It bothers me that they feel they need to rise to that level of discourse. It also suprises me that they are that stupid as to esentially record the threats and expound on them in writting.
I see they are protesting at "Pedro's" house.
You are lumping the real mechanics in with the "maids". Unfortunately they share the same union. BTW the bulk of the "maids" were run off years ago. Before you get too knee jerk on your reaction I suggest you investigate what is happening. There is more than meets the eye.
Don't fly NWA - the mechanics working on the planes now have little or no real experience. They have had several failures lately and a real disaster is not unlikely given the people now maintaining the planes. Let someone else get killed.
I was at detroit metro about a week ago. I went to see what they were striking for. One of em was taking pictures of the scabs working on the planes. I wondered what the hell was goin on.
What's going on? I'm on a transatlantic NWA flight tomorrow night.
If you go to this webiste http://www.betterwhois.com/ and submit some of the critical info from that image on the first post of this FR thread, you can see who is behind the image. I'm sure the authorities would also have similar luck.
With wages like these for people who do the grunt work...is this why some airlines are in trouble?
