Scroll back. I think he talks about flood insurance in every post he's written. He's GOT to be a salesman! ;)I've dealt with you before. You cannot stick to meaningful discussion and keep up the personal attacks.
To: ohioWfan
What we used to call "a broken record". I wouldn't call him a salesman. A salesman is supposed to know his product.
To: Black Tooth
Not one red cent! And there are restrictions on Zimbabwe to boot.
It really helps one, to NOT talk about things they know NOTHING whatsoever about. Maybe you'll finally figure that out some day.
To: JeffAtlanta
For example, Atlanta's only real threat is tornados. And Yankee armies.
Look, if you don't want to help out Alabama and Mississippi and Louisiana, then call your Georgia Congressmen and tell them to vote against relief for your fellow Southerners. As a damnyankee from Ohio, all I know is that my fellow Americans on the Gulf Coast need our help on many levels -- including Federal Government support!
Georgia still owes the rest of the country for being mostly responsible for four years of that peanut farmer who set this nation back 20 years with his incompetent administration.
To: JeffAtlanta
"I do have a problem with rebuilding homes in a high flood risk zone for people that are too poor to afford flood insurance. We as a nation should be discouraging people from living close to the gulf coast unless they can afford flood insurance."
I tend to agree with this statement. However, the process of rebuilding homes, as outlined by tonight's speech, also includes employment opportunities. We're providing empowerment and promoting responsibility and home ownership. Perhaps the details can include some sort of incentives for obtaining flood insurance, or likewise, penalities for not getting insurance.

Did you read in the NYTimes M.Brown's assessment of K.B.Blanco's incoherent reaction to Katrina?

"By their logic, you're not a conservative unless you pledge your allegience to GWB and his career. Socialism and the enlargement of the federal government is bad no matter which party does it.
If Bush were a true conservative, I'd be all for him. Sadly he is not. His only saving grace is that he is 100 times better than the two guys that he has ran against."
Thanks for a well-stated post.

People need to be accountable for their actions, sure everyone makes mistake and deserves a second chance, but race should have nothing to do with it.

I'm exceedingly grateful I'm not a member of your church. Thankfully the Son of God I love doesn't exhibit your bigoted attitude.

Ya know, toots -- there's something, a pattern if you will, to what you keep posting to Howlin.
You got the hots for her, or just harassing her? Hmm?

Put that as a requirement to building there (getting flood insurance.)In Florida, you can't get a mortgage or refi without flood insurance in the high risk zones. The problem arises when the mortgage is paid off. VIrtually everyone drops their flood insurance at that point.

Something serious has gone awry with Scarborough since he left congress.Maybe it was that dead congressional aid?
According to this his troubles began right before he left congress.

You know why I really respect President Bush?
Because he's AN ADVOCATE FOR PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY.
Why do you far rightists want to stop him from encouraging people to take responsibility for their own lives, and to give them an opportunity for ownership of businesses and homes?
Why do you want to stand in the way of strengthening the economy, jobs creation, and responsibility?
You don't make a single bit of sense. If you care about personal responsibility you should have appreciated this speech. (Did you actually listen to it?)

That post was a mistake. I was confused because had nothing to do with my post.
Then I realized it was accidentally posted to me instead.

As the son of an attorney who litigated many post Frederick flood v wind cases, I can attest to the fact that it will be a long, long time before any of the insured see the first dime from their policies. What would Mr. Flood Insurance have those people do until then?

and according to you if you might get hurt or lose your home in a natural diaster then you shouldn't live where ever you live.
Name one place on this planet that is safe from any type of natural diaster?
I bet you don't drive either.
