BTW, there were only 48 States when I was born and I liked it that way! Hey Now, just watch it.
If being second in size has given Texas such a complex, we can divide Alaska in half.
Then Texas can be third.....

"Oh, I am not Military, but come from a strong military family."
I didn't expect that you were military. When I enlisted, in 1973, there were very few people who still had any respect for military people. I am happy to see that has changed. In 1991, when I returned home from Operation Desert Storm, I was surprised to find that being in the military was once again considered an honorable thing to be, but I'm not so foolish as to take it for granted, as I've know other times.
Supporting our troops is service, in its own right. I thanked you, and thank you again, for THAT service! I was communications support for the warfighters at Desert Storm, that being the best service I could give. The warfighters could have done what they did without us, we just made it easier for them, in some ways. What you do is similar to what I did, you and all those who have accepted your mission. Thank you, again.
Bill

Thanks. Happy to have you in the Canteen. We have tons of fun here. Sometimes we get serious, too.
Just being here to support the troops has been a great lesson for me. Helps me to stay out of the pitypot, to give what I can.
