God bless our troops!
I never got into the animated series despite being a long time Star Trek fan. Lately, I have been watching an animated series on Sci-Fi called "Tripping the Rift." As near as I can determine, this is what the Star Trek animated series would have been if Gene Roddenberry had done serious drugs!

Thanks - those pictures bring back such happy memories. My college roommate was a Trek fan, and we always had to watch the reruns when we got off work from the bowling alley. It didn't take long for me to get hooked, and then I had to start reading all the books. I think my husband became a fan just to please me!
Another family favorite was Dr. Who - especially the googly-eyed one (Tom Baker). Though John Pertwee was also quite good - a very classy old-school gent.
