This is a hilarious vid clip of Martin Savage going into a WalMart and confronting various looters, which include a pair of female cops. He is deadpan hilarious.

My favorite exchange:(paraphrase)
Lady Cop:"We're securing the store from looters."
Martin:"Really? Because I think I see some."

Martin:"Really? Because I think I see some."

Between that clip and the gun grab video with the elderly ladie it is safe to assume that NOPD shows the absolute worst of police actions.
The only difference between NOPD and the bad guys was one was wearing a uniform.
Accountability is called for or all LEO departments will get painted with the same brush.

Normally, I'd say "that's incredible - cops looting on camera."
But this is the New Orleans of Blank-O and Naggin.

Olberman is an idiot.
He was actually making excuses for the looters.

They were rent-a-cops. Never dedicated to "serve and protect". Hopefully, they will serve time. But I doubt it.

What are they supposed to do? I mean there were no workers there to check them out. I blame Walmart!
To: steel_resolve
Hey, it is only black female cops looting - for their people...

The cop he was talking to was carrying a gun. Do
normal rent-a-cops carry guns?
Pretty ugly in there. Obviously many of the people caught
in there weren't going for emergency supplies. Plus the place was dry. What happened to the WHOLE city being flooded story?
Like I say, you really cannot trust the mainstream media
to get at the real whole complete story...Olberman
is starting to get me sick..."well I'm glad you have to
make that judgment...he says to Savage(sp?)...well maybe Mr. Olbermann should say that about all of his stories too.

They were wearing NOPD uniforms.

I just got back this weekend from spending 8 days in New Orleans. Several guys from my PD went to assist NOPD and another local PD. Fortunately, all the Officers I met and worked with there were outstanding. Most of the ones who were weak of character, like the idiots in the video were already gone, leaving behind the ones who were strong in character. I hope the video is used in the conviction of those "police officers" someday. I will say that those guys at NOPD do have terrible leadership, the NOPD top administration is a joke, but there are some outstanding Officers in streets right now. The guys I met last week impressed me.

If y'all are talking about the one who body slammed the elderly lady, they were California Highway Patrol, not NOPD.

What was really finny was the look on the officer's face and the slumped down shoulders when she was confronter by the cameraman. She skulked away knowing she was busted, and was not one bit happy about being on camera in uniform committing a crime. Funniest thing I've ever seen

The ones that stayed behind did a tremendous job. I feel for them. They have to share the name NO cop with those that trashed the duty with which they swore to do.
