I just got back this weekend from spending 8 days in New Orleans. Several guys from my PD went to assist NOPD and another local PD. Fortunately, all the Officers I met and worked with there were outstanding. Most of the ones who were weak of character, like the idiots in the video were already gone, leaving behind the ones who were strong in character. I hope the video is used in the conviction of those "police officers" someday. I will say that those guys at NOPD do have terrible leadership, the NOPD top administration is a joke, but there are some outstanding Officers in streets right now. The guys I met last week impressed me.

The ones that stayed behind did a tremendous job. I feel for them. They have to share the name NO cop with those that trashed the duty with which they swore to do.

In any large organization the top 10% of employees do about 50% of the work. When the bad cops left the good cops didn't have to prop them up anymore.
