Please sign the online petition to stop the killing of pets in New Orleans. Conflicting reports abound, regarding whether orders have been given to shoot abandoned pets. But just in case it is or becomes true, please sign the online petitions below to STOP the killing:

Perhaps I'm merely assuming that you speak like that to "pet nuts" in the "real world" but somehow, I seriously doubt that you do.

We know their true agenda, and it's not about the animals for them. So it's no surprise they are dramatically ABSENT from all the Katrina stories.
I'm the most conservative, Republican person I know up here in the liberal hellhole of Boston, and I got bleeped! Besides which, I've gotten the shit beaten out of me for opening my mouth about being a Republican.

I hope the families that have lost loved ones (HUMAN BEINGS) appreciate your efforts to rescue stray pets BEFORE the remains of their families have even been identified.

FYI, "He" (me) didn't "feel it was necessary to hide the true source of the link" -- I was simply way too exhausted to do everything correctly at this late hour. Furthermore, the "true source" of MY source for the petition was from Petfinder.com, where I found the link, where many of the lost and found animals from Katrina are being posted. I wasn't trying to HIDE anything, I was just too tired to figure it all out and do it right when I made the post (thinking those details weren't particularly important anyway).

If these animals were really just a member of the familly, it would be like chaining their kid to the porch then leaving it behind. These are drama stories to get you to donate.
