Kanye West is firing off at America's white leaders again a week after he shocked TV viewers on a Hurricane Katrina telethon by claiming President George W Bush is a racist.
The rapper ignored the telethon script and attacked Bush for not acting quicker to save African-Americans stranded by the storms in Mississippi and Louisiana.
And he isn't finished yet. Appearing on Ellen De Generes chat show on Friday, West insisted Bush and other politicians knew America's Gulf Coast couldn't withstand a hurricane a year before Katrina hit.
"Back in the days when it was time to clean the kitchen, I would try to sweep the dust under the kitchen sink instead of really taking care of it," West said. "and if you spilled something on that floor all that dust came right up in front of your face. That's basically what the flood did.
"They have been trying to sweep us (African-Americans) under the kitchen sink and it was so in people's faces and so on TV... that they couldn't even hide it any more.
"Down there, people are living below the poverty level to start off with, before this happened.
"A year ago I was on tour with Usher and we had a hurricane hit Florida and everybody was saying, 'If this hurricane went to Louisiana, if it went to Mississippi, they wouldn't be able to handle it.' (That was) a year ago - and there was nothing done about it."
Kanye is not telling you that you grew up with a silver spoon.

I don't agree with most of this guy's politics, but it's always a good idea to learn about who you are criticizing before you do so.
No, we just want to sweep West, "Diddy," Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Jadakiss and Jay-Z under the kitchen sink, and by kitchen sink, I mean the Middle East. I sure to them rap pales in comparison to "HEEEH-LEEEHHH-LEEHH-HEEEHHH!!!"
Kanye probably lost his cred in da hood, when he made it to the cover of Time magazine. So he goes and shoots his mouth off in the hope of getting his street cred back.

And how is that different from saying that he should talk like Big Sam in Gone with the Wind?
While Black people are whining and crying over New Orleans, white people in Mississippi and Alabama are pulling themselves up and working to put their lives back in order.
Thousands of Whites are also out of their homes and lost everything they own.
I am sick to puking of listening to how bad off the blacks have it. Blacks arent the only ones who are hurt in New Orleans either , although you would never know it to listen to the media. This butt wipe wants to blame someone he should look to his own race in the form of Mayor Nagin who obviously never read his own evacuation plan.
That's why we never sent any aid to New Orleans; it is because we want all of the ...........!

I actually don't think he's saying anything to you. He's addressing the government (e.g. "George Bush doesn't care about black people!"). Unless we are members of FEMA or the White House staff, it doesn't seem like he is addressing us specifically.
HA! Like Jesse Hi-Jackson saying they should put him in charge of the recovery because his fee is very reasonable.
This is actually one of the biggest problems in the black community. As soon as anyone achieves any wealth or status, they abandon the neighborhood. Now, I'm not saying they all do it, but one of the reasons the Italians, Jews, Poles, etc. did so well as immigrants was because they worked and invested in their own communities...even after they achieved success.
