What Kanye needs is an unedited version of American History 101. That way he'll find out that his beloved Democrats have been screwing us (and yes, I'm black) over for the better part of two centuries. He may also find out that it was Republicans and Abolitionists who freed our ancestors from the yoke of slavery, while the Democrats worked hard to keep us there and when they failed, they resorted to wearing white bedsheets and hoods to terrorize and kill off the recently freed blacks in the south.

I can't remember anything that Kanye West was saying about loving Democrats specifically.

And remember, the Democrats and Republicans haven't had any consistent ideologies throughout the country's history. The deep south was staunchly Democrat until 1960-1964, when it made an abrupt switch to staunch Republican. Obviously an entire subculture didn't change their political views in 4 years. The party changed its stance. On what? I'm not going to answer that, but it's clear that Democrats of today have nothing to do with the white sheet-wearing Ku Kluxers and the Republicans today have nothing to do with Lincoln.
