Family Advocate Claims ACLU Seeks to Turn Kids Into Pro-Homosexual Activists
Agape Press ^ | 9/9/05 | Jim Brown

An Ohio pro-family activist warns that the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is disseminating information in an effort that is creating confrontational pro-homosexual student activists. A website for the organization's Lesbian and Gay Rights Project offers students a "Know Your Rights" card and refers to laws that purportedly protect homosexual behavior.

But Linda Harvey, head of the conservative group Mission America, contends that the information the ACLU's homosexual rights advocates are providing through the site is somewhat distorted. "They say, for instance, that you have a federal constitutional right to express your sexual orientation," she notes. "I don't think that exists, unless I'm misinformed. I don't see that anywhere in our Constitution."

Harvey feels the ACLU is putting such information in the hands of students with a deliberate purpose. "What they're doing is ... creating a situation where students are going to be confrontational, and most school boards and schools in this country are not prepared to deal with this," she asserts.

The pro-family spokeswoman believes the ACLU, in its effort to educate homosexual students of these so-called "rights," is setting up a situation in which the civil liberties organization can sue a school on behalf of a student who does not get what he or she wants at school. Meanwhile, she points out, as another part of its Lesbian and Gay Rights Project, the ACLU is encouraging homosexual students to establish "Gay Straight Alliance" (GSA) clubs, wear homosexual-themed t-shirts, and promote "gay pride" on campus.

However, Harvey says schools can prevent the formation of such clubs if the schools do not have a non-discrimination policy that includes the term "sexual orientation." Also, she notes that schools have another option, "if they have an abstinence-based sex education policy; they can deny these clubs."

In that case, the Ohio family advocate points out, some investigation and documentation would be necessary for schools to make their case against the formation of student GSAs. "What [school officials] will have to do," she explains, "is go back and research clubs in the past and find the fact that clubs really do deal with sexual matters. They say that they don't, but they do. That would be another adequate defense."

Harvey says since the ACLU has a myriad of resources for homosexual students yet offers none for Christian students, the group is clearly demonstrating that its commitment to diversity is phony.

>>>The ACLU is MORE dangerous to our Liberties than OBL or al-Qaeda ever was or will be.

Not more or less. They are CONNECTED.

ACLU, VVAW, IAC, ANSWER, Not In Our Name, Human Rights First....they all fall under Ahmed Huber's guidence that operate under SAAR foundation (currently under investigation after being raided in Operation Greenquest)

Who is Ahmed Huber:

About Ahmed Huber:

Among the conclave’s key backers was Ahmed Huber, a Swiss-German convert to Islam who traveled back and forth to Beirut to promote the event. This is the same Huber who is a primary supporter of the NPD, the German neo-Nazi party that sent 4,000 of its members marching through Berlin’s historic Jewish neighborhood on a recent Sabbath.

It takes money, clout and coordination to get 4,000 people to march anywhere, and clearly, people like Huber have got all three. And his contacts stretch beyond Europe and the Middle East. In a recent televised interview, Huber spoke of his many lectures in the United States and boasted that because of his strong ties to American Islamic groups, he was given advance warning that something big was going to happen here -- well before 9/11.

Against a wall filled with pictures of his heroes -- the Ayatollah Khomeini and Hitler, among others -- Huber denies that his bank has helped al Qaida, even as he gloats about his cohorts in the U.S. assuring him, We will bring down the power of the Israel lobby.

Alias: Achmed Albert Friedrich Armand Huber

Nada Management Organization - the Nada Management Organization was blocked on suspicion that the firm had possible links to the September 11 attacks. No details were given about the amounts frozen or the banks concerned. The move comes after the United States asked Switzerland, Italy, Liechtenstein and the Bahamas to block all assets belonging to the Nada Management Organization, which was previously known as al-Taqwa. Two of the company’s bosses were detained by police for questioning in Lugano on Wednesday, as part of a coordinated operation by Switzerland, Italy and Liechtenstein.

Youssef Mustafa Nada and Ali Ghaleb Himmat were taken into custody after Italian police raided their homes on Wednesday in Campione D’Italia, a tiny Italian enclave in Switzerland, surrounded by canton Ticino. They were later released. Another Nada official, Ahmed Huber, was questioned about al-Taqwa’s activities by Swiss officials in Bern before being released. The Swiss federal prosecutor, Valentin Roschacher, said the investigation was likely to take several months. “We now have enough information to open an inquiry. We seized a lot of documentation on Wednesday, some of which is in Arabic, and it will take a long time to follow the paper trail.”

The US authorities say al-Taqwa is one of several informal cash exchanges - known as “hawalas” - which funnel millions of dollars to terrorists outside the traditional banking system.

Investigators suspect that hawalas also help terrorists acquire material and supplies by acting as front organisations. They believe bin Laden has made use of them to acquire and distribute funds.

Nada Management, founded in 1987 under the name al-Taqwa, is one of the world’s largest financial institutions dedicated to Muslim clients and Islamic business activities. One elemental service these groups provide is the hawala exchange system, by which small amounts of money - usually less than $1,000 - are transferred to other hawala agencies around the world. A sum of money or valuable can be brought to a hawala agency in Europe, for example, where a phone call to a network office in the Middle East or Asia will free up a corresponding amount at the desired destination.

The transaction is almost immediate, based entirely on trust and requires no certification that might leave a paper trail. Western antiterror experts suspect such unregulated transactions allow millions of dollars to be funneled to Islamist groups engaged in terror.

National Council of Churches and World Council of Churches. They're both so full of socialists and Communists it would make your head spin.

Almost all (I'm being polite here) the mainline churches belong and if we don't put pressure on them, they'll never budge.

I just skimmed your thread on homosexuals. GREAT JOB! And yes, the NCC and WCC probably do look at kinky sex as an "expression of affection" or something equally idiotic.

I know they were saying in their seminaries (in the '60's) that sexual love between two people was A-ok, as long as both parties consented. HONEST! I read it myself years ago.

I read the headline four times before I realized it said pro-homosexual instead of pre-homosexual.

Good advice. These people are all extremely questionable in their agenda.

The ACLU has had a large and very active homosexual lobby for some time. In fact, it's becoming increasingly apparent that, with regards to homosexual activism at ACLU, the tail wags the dog.

If history tells us anything, you will ultimately fail......you will be hated and despised by generations to come. And, of course, you and your friends stand a decent chance to end on the swinging end of some rope in a cold winter night, in front of some makeshift revolutionary comando.

Gosh, that's awfully cheerful.

So, what's your solution?

Notice that I used the word "solution". The problem being to abate the baleful influence, and roll back the gains, of these minoritarian Alinskyites (pardon the pleonasm -- Leftists have always been minoritarian, never moreso than when they called themselves Bolsheviki) at the expense of decent people in the moral majority?

You might also address the disconnect between your foreboding about the future of conservative activism, as you expressed it above, and the career trajectory of the Left so far, whose activists and opportunists, like the odious Morris Dees of the Southern Poverty Law Center, have waxed fat and arrogant instead.

So ,would you rather have things go to the point where it is ILLEGAL to speak bad of the gay lifestyle, and pedophila, and where "normal" marriage is forever lost?

Maybe you missed it-- but in my fantasy(which you should go back to the original thread and read ALL of, to get my point),the MORALS of people would change, to where there would be no DESIRE for those kind of groups, and the public(NOT some dictator), would see that they were out.

"How will those students cope when they find out it's a (bad) choice -- they're not born that way?"

It will be too late for these victims and their poor parents.

What will happen when it's not fashionable anymore to be gay? How will the educators explain their promotion of the gay agenda to the millions of kids under 21? How will those students cope when they find out it's a (bad) choice -- they're not born that way?

Hopefully, they'll learn to wise up and not be the kind of "sheeple" that get their spiritual advice and lifestyle ideology from the religion of secular humanism/egoistic hedonism/moral relitivisim and it's clergy --
Television talk show personalities. Popular pseudo-psychiatry gurus and pop-culture icons that exploit the misfortune and misery of society's uneducated underclass, dysfunctional families, and misguided single parent teenagers who are completely void of morality and personal responsibility.
