You have got to be kidding!!! Is this some kind of very sick and cruel joke?
This red moon “Crescent of Embrace" is for whose benefit? It surely doesn't represent the folks who died trying to STOP this murderous act. Looks for like a celebration of the SUCCESS of the murderous ISLAMIC madmen. Or maybe a "A group hug from Islam"
I can't believe you would even consider this slap in the face to our country and OUR heros. Let's consider something with Let's Roll and "We didn't go down with out a fight".
How insensitive to America to even consider the crescent as representative of this tragic event.

Absolutely. Maybe inscribe the names of the heroes on the monument as well.
What sickens me most is the "embrace" part of the monument name. For crying out loud, we are honoring these heroes because they were fighting Muslims, not embracing them.
Where the heck did this "embrace" nonsense come from? You don't win a war by embracing anyone.

I tried to send off my feelings to the National Parks website..it didn't work. Seems to me that they must be getting A LOT of feedback. What is the deal with all the PC concerning these memorials? JUST HONOR THOSE WHO DIED...it's not about Islam....it's about those who died saving other's lives

Who are they memorializing, the people that died rushing the cabin causing the plane to crash before it got to it's intended target, or THE ISLAMIC KILLERS THAT HIJACKED THE PLANE!?!?
