I've never seen the country so intensely polarized. I begin to worry about the possibility of Civil War.

Yes, but since we have all the guns, it wouldn't be much of a Civil War as far as one goes. Lots of house to house, I suppose.

The left would be stupid to start one.

We've got all the guns, remember.

"I begin to worry about the possibility of Civil War."

We've been at war with the 'rats for a long time now. We just haven't reached the shooting part of the festivities.

We're gittin' there. Seriously, I do believe that this is a possibility, maybe even a probability. I wasn't there for the Civil War, but I can't see how it could have been much more polarized then than now, and it is still getting worse. But please remember, the liberal Dems kill their babies, and they hate guns.

All revolutions attack their own government first, than the rest of the population gets involved.

Same scary thought here.

I believe if the tone of the rhetoric doesn't come down coming out of the left we will have violence and lots of it.

there are a lot of radical groups associated with the Democrat party.

Doesn't mean these groups have lots of members, just means that many groups are made up of the same membership.

Take for instance when all the FReepers went down to Crawford.

Did anyone happen to notice that most of the Moon Bat crowds cars all had the same stickers.

One in particular said PETA, ACLU, Code Pink, Kerry For President, Sierra Club, MADD and several others.

I would make the claim that there are only a few hard core nut wacko's and they all belong to the same groups making them seem like they represent a larger portion of America.

I've never seen the country so intensely polarized. I begin to worry about the possibility of Civil War.

I did a quick tally on the percentages of veteran's from the states since 1990 (which indicates where people join the military from or move to when they finish their service). The strongly liberal states (which are the only ones who could consider it) would have no chance and they know it. That is why they are trying to take us over by using the courts and MSM.

Source document (large PDF).

I have worried about this for a while.... it will happen but there will be an issue that starts it.

With gunmanship such as this it will be a short war.

The liberals would lose very badly. The liberals who are violent are wacked out and irrational. They would collapse quickly if the right ever got serious and took them on in a shooting war. Liberals talk too much and cannot fight. They are all mouth and no action.

My Daddy used to say ... "Son, don't bother worrying about things you have no control over. Worry about those that you do."

Be prepared, comes to mind.

Look on the bright side. You'll be on the winning side. That is, the folks with the guns that know how to use them.

POSSIBILITY ?
If you read some good books about the civil war you will find the same meanness in politics that we are witnessing today and mostly from the same party
I consider a civil war to be almost unavoidable

Doubtful -- even the looniest moonbat must know that the professional miltary is overwhelmingly against them, and appealing to outside forces to fight our own military is the surest way to p*** off 95% of the population.
