He threw away some documents - but it's never been revealed if Burgler confessed as to what the documents really were .. and he could have made up anything.
DOJ - is supposed to stand for "justice" - but in this case America did not get ANY!!

Harsher than recommended, but not harsh. If I recall correctly, the maximum penalty is 10 years in prison with $250,000 fine. The $50,000 fine and 2 years probation is basically nothing.

No. Speculation swirled around the news of the July postponement of his sentencing that it was to do with that. Who knows...they've been tight lipped. I notice that Bill Clinton has been Bush's road dog for the last few months helping with charitable work and slapping down reporters for politicizing the hurricane relief efforts.

You're lucky. Here in Hudson County I'm deep in Dem territory.I'm a musician so you can imagine some of the Lib type I have to deal with on a regular basis.

I just figured he was directing his comments to the topic, not to you. I may be mistaken and if so, I apologize. ;-)

I work in a big liberal law firm. I am surrounded daily.
The one attorney was invited to the DNC for photo Ops with Kerry and Edwards. I think it is lib central here!!

I couldn't agree more. They all think they breathe rarefied air in D.C. and they've forgotten they're supposed to be "public servants" not a ruling elite!

What an outrage. As someone on FR posted, there are three sets of laws: one for the rich and famous, another for illegal aliens, and a third set for the rest of us.

Do we get to learn what Burglar got caught with now or does Bush hide that from the American people?
To: IFly4Him
CLinton will not pay with his own money, but he might make some phone calls to try to get somebody else to pay.

We need to get military men to run for high office. We really, really need hard core candidates in the system. The country is dying from these liberals and moderates like Bush. And I like Bush a lot of the time.

Chump change and a pat on the wrist. You would have faced a firing squad.
