FOX News (Click here for MUST SEE Video) ^ | Brit Hume and Major Garrett

Posted on 09/07/2005 3:35:54 PM PDT by NickatNite2003

Just heard on FOX that Blanco refused to allow supplies to be brought to the stadium, "Because they wanted all those people to leave, and they didn't want to create a magnet to bring others there, by bringing in food and water!"""

What I want to know is where Governor Blanco was getting her orders from? Do the letters D-N-C mean anything to you?

How are they going to recall her when New Orleans is effectively out of service for the next 6-12 months?

She's the governor of the entire state, not just New Orleans. Most of Louisiana is up and running just fine, and they can let the people who are in Texas and elsewhere vote absentee.

I'll just ignore it because I like to start fights and then run away.

Hahahahahahaha. That's a great line. Refreshing honesty.

If a Bartender, or even a HOMEOWNER, gives someone too much to drink, and that person kills or hurts someone, they can be held Responsible!!!

Gov. Blanco did the opposite....she didn't provide drink and food and people DIED. She needs to be held responsible!!!

Nagin mentions he told Bush they (Blanco's office) were probably feeding Bush a line too. That's when Bush took her aside and made her the offer she wanted to think about for 24 hours. The Media reported on the next Presidential visit to LA that Blanco was being cool to Bush. Looks like he was giving her the respect she deserved - none.

Oh yeah, Today when she was talking to David Lee Miller on Fox she said, "In this case the Governor, THAT WOULD BE ME, Issues......."

now we know why BUSH had to fly to Baton Rouge to confront this brainless b!tch face to face

...I remember when he said he was there "to set things straight" and "fix the things that needed fixing"...guess Dubya had to chase Blanco around a bit too....remember she couldn't be found ,or evaded the meeting with the Prez... Like I said before she needs to get slapped on the nose with a newspaper and sent to a wet basement

You know your lib buddies will say that is just right wing Fox News. Plus they will say if that was true, then EVERONE would have reported. As if the MSM is not bias or dishonest with the public... Fact and logic do not mean anything to leftist.

Gov Blanco: "Let them eat cake. No, wait, if they do that, they just stay and want more."

At what point is she prosecutable for negligence if they can prove she was deliberately obstructing the relief effort?

Not trying to be a conspiracy theorist nut job.

Not saying that happened....just curious...since it looks more and more like she got in the way, whether it was deliberate or just incompetence on her part. If it was deliberate, is that prosecutable?

Well .. if the Gov told HS not to give them food and water - then why wouldn't HS have told the Red Cross - the Gov doesn't want food and water there - in order to encourage people to leave.

My question is ..: If they wanted the people to leave so bad - they should have taken the idle buses and MOVED THEM. Good grief. No common sense was used in over a week.

Major Garrett reporting to Brit Hume. The sorry SOBs can't get awat with anymore.

The La. government thought it was a bad idea to bring food to the Superdome & Convention Center because they didn't want the refugees to disperse.

Now, will Katie & Oprah & the Alphabets report it?

I was listening to the broadcast and jotted this down while listening to it.

LA Homeland Security (the states controlled agency, not the federal homeland security) refused them entry.

Who is the head of homeland security for the state of LA (not the federal homeland security, the state version)????
