Just posted the same thing, hadn't gotten to yours yet.
abdicating/advocating. I've seen him execute a couple other slips, which I find a bit interesting.

What really got me was when he was addressed as Mr. President.

When did Bush 41 use his dead daughter for political advantage? My memory fails me on this. I do know she died of leukemia about 50 years ago.

See my reply, 119.

You're right, she's humiliating, but we have plenty REAL women in the GOP!

He was on Fox and Friends this morning and while he wasn't blaming Bush personally he was repeating what is obviously the Louisiana authorities talking points of "we're not trying to point fingers there's enough blame to go around".

What I want to know is how was this guys momma calling her son day after day with no utilies. I thought Jefferson Parish was without ALL utilities.

I ventured yesterday to Walmart in the southwestern part of the state, you could tell those who were from the NO area. They are still shell shocked, frantic and totally lost. These folks definitely need help to get back on their feet. All of the churches here have taken in people and are doing whatever they can to help.

One church is converting their sunday school rooms into apartments to house families for the long term. They had 150 people staying in their gym the night of the storm and this is not a Red Cross approved shelter. Every possible space to house people has been used and the church community is responding. They are feeding, housing and moving mountains in order to minister. The storm/flood affected all of New Orleans not just those living in the projects/ghettos.

Such as (and I've seen it so printed 2x): "should OF"

...or was that just the idiocy of the reporter (all bets are off these days on grammar)?

She needs to explain this too! She claims that 'all lanes have been converted' to be used to evacuate!

I noticed that on Fox all day on the 28th, the talked about contraflow, but I never once saw a shot showing all lanes moving in one direction.

She's been overwhelmed for a week now.

I would also like to see what executive decisions she DID manage to implement in that time.

But the leftists in charge of LA haven't figured any of this out.

They know what to do and that is to blame it on everyone but themselves. The media is just to happy to help.

Louisiana Gov. Kathleen Blanco defends her state's response to Hurricane Katrina.

Haven't seen it yet...but he mentioned eating popcorn while watching it....pinging for later, when I have access to microwave

They had a decent plan. Nothing in the plan was followed.

Even worse.

Well, Nagin is not doing so well for the men, either.

That's true, it's the ideology more than the race or sex that determines this behavior. We have had brave women and brave black men - but Blanco and Nagin are a Dem woman and a Dem black man, respectively, which tells you where they're coming from.

BTW, I know that Nagin was a GOPer until he changed parties because he thought he couldn't get elected otherwise, but that should also tell us a lot about him and his "philosophy."

I agree that she is embarrassing the bejeebers out of me.

I can't see how she kept it together enough to teach school, much less be a governor.

And the more she speaks, the more garbled her words become.

ACK!
