Maybe the dems should nominate McCain or Rudy. In fact, that is exactly what the dems SHOULD do. The GOP certainly shouldn't nominate either one of them.

Expect Giuliani to get a big bump because of the incompetence of the Devilcrats in New Orleans in the weeks ahead.
Comparisons are being made left and right to Hizzhonor and his leadership and Nagin and his utter failure...

By way of comparison, among Republicans, Giuliani is viewed favorably by a 63% to 17% margin. I have a generally favorable view of Giuliani -- AS MAYOR OF NEW YORK CITY. He did a good job as mayor of cleaning up that town. As national leadership material, however, he would be very poor. He does not reflect GOP values and would not govern as a conservative.

None of them have particularly good polls.

Rudy Giuliani and John McCain both are essentially even with Democrat Hillary Clinton. The beast(s) must be stopped!

The very question is ultra-left wing propaganda. Rudi is barely a Republican and McCain is only for McCain. Neither one is likely to be the nominee in 2008. But, the left wing is simply lowering expectations here. They can say, "Well, neither of the guys that could beat Hillie have been nominated and they were her only worry."

Let's hope that this is the last of the silly summer polls that are nothing more than entertainment. They're like action movies that you would ONLY go to see on vacation precisely because they are "mindless fantasy".
The beast will never be the president of this country. She has now racked up 4 consecutive polls that show the same number 40% of people who would never vote for her. You can't win anything giving up 4 of 10 voters before you even open your campaign HQ. Plus this new poll shows her at 43% disapprove. DEADLY!
Neither the guy who will be "Rudy who?" by 2008 nor mcpain (media) Az will be able to win in GOP primaries.
The man standing with his right hand in the air on Jan. 20 2009 will be George Allen. His VP will be Ken Blackwell.

Too bad I wouldn't for either of the the GOP creep McCain or babykiller homo-lover Giuliani.

Hillary will gain in the polls. She will put together the most savvy campaign and image people anybody can imagine and run a tough as hell campaign.
Nobody should think otherwise.

What are the chances that joe Lieberman might challenge the Hildebeast for the nomination? Let them tear each other apart for a change.
As for Guiliani...as Mayor he got to do things his way. As President he would have to work with Congress.

This poll comes before ABC's strategically-planned Geena Davis-as-first-woman-President TV series, and the inevitable MSM-generated hysteria about "The First Woman in the White House!!!" which you will see plastered across every magazine, newspaper and tv screen in 2008. The Left has been planning for Hillary as their candidate for 30 years. They are going all out.

If Rudy wants to be POTUS all he needs to do is volunteer to coordinate the disaster relief effort. He will win by a landslide. People need a strong leader, no matter what political party they embrace. If he comes out within the next few days and starts to make the talk shows, that will signal his intentions. IMHO
