US actor Sean Penn bales water out of a boat with a plastic cup as he and members of his entourage make an attempt to rescue stranded people in New Orleans. Efforts by Penn to aid New Orleans victims stranded by Hurricane Katrina foundered badly Sunday, when the boat he was piloting to launch a rescue attempt sprang a leak. Penn had planned to rescue children waylaid by Katrina's flood waters, but apparently forgot to plug a hole in the bottom of the vessel, which began taking water within seconds of its launch(AFP/Nicholas Kamm)

Rubby Dubby Dub , Sean Penn in a Leaky Tub
This was an overloaded boat, complete with a photographer. Literally show boating. Only problem was, they forgot about the plug. There was no room for any victims on this ship of fools.
hahahahhahahhahaahahahahahahaahahahah what a nitwit haahhahahahaahahaha i never laugh so hardhaahahahaha
He must have forgotten to put the plug in, LOL!
What a bunch of idiots. First rule of trailering a boat: don't forget the plug before launch!!
LOL; More proof actors should stick to acting. I have to admit as much as I dispise Penn's brain and mouth, I give him kudoos for getting wet.
Probably forgot to put the drain plug in. That is one of the problems with trying to help when you don't have a clue. You become just one more idiot that needs to be rescued.
I imagine the photo of Sean Penn Released to Press was not Sean Penn's Personal Photographer...Kudos to Nicholas Kamm..who took this picture!
Sean Penn invents the caterpillar drive.
"but apparently forgot to plug a hole in the bottom of the vessel, which began taking water within seconds of its launch(AFP/Nicholas Kamm)"
A few of us noted yesterday that this peanut brain shell of a many probably forgot to put the drain plug back in.
When the boat's motor failed to start, those aboard were forced to paddle themselves down the flooded New Orleans street.
Dude, where's my surfboard?
I think this is symbolic of every liberal effort to do anything...pretty soon the whole sorry mess just sinks and stinks.
Who's Sean Penn?
Damn, where did that iceburg come from?
LMAO. I thought this story was satire. This is true? Too funny.
I am Sean Penn and I am here to Help....Would you please cut that camera off!
Which leads one to wonder why the boat was ever released from the trailer, or cast off from the dock before the motor was started.
Which reinforces my original statment that when people without a clue try to help, they end up as just another group of idiots who need to be rescued.
"I'm Sean Penn and I'm here for your children!"
