He is acting. Acting like he cares, acting like he has a brain, acting like he has some sense.
Acting very poorly no less.
The problem with admiring or rewarding good intentions is precisely what gives Democrats some measure of credibility in spite of the fact that we all know where the road paved with good intentions leads. And as should be blatantly obvious to everyone, instead of becoming a rescuer and part of the solution, Penn adds to the problem by becoming another victim in need of rescue. It detracts from the overall effectiveness of the rescue effort.
